I thought I saw a quote from Craig Federighi saying that the 3D Touch app switcher was coming back with this update? I miss it.
I am not showing anything yet, do you need to remove dev profile to see it?
Edit: I guess I do
Profiles are found in settings/general/profiles then just delete it from there. I had to reboot after before the new update would show up. I will also say, I had the public beta profile installed, not the dev.How do you remove the dev. profile?
Anyone else just updating with iTunes lately? OTA takes SO LONG I haven't done an OTA update in ages.
iTunes is far faster, especially with a wired gigabit connection at work.

https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/unenrollMany, many thanks! Googled it, but couldn't find anything useful.
Also try doing a hard reboot:

Maybe that's needed to make sure the battery will start working properly. And having to wait for a few cycles.
I tend to wait a few days for this as well, but anecdotally after almost 2 hours of use and one hard reboot, my battery % drain seems to have stabilized to dropping 1% at a time in normal intervals for what task I’m doing and not jumping up multiple % when charging. I’m wondering if they fixed some kind of battery stat reporting error rather than actual battery drain. Again, too early to tell, but it’s looking good so far. (For the record, my weird battery behavior happened before and after a IPSW clean installation. It took this patch as an OTA.)
Because 11.1 is expected tomorrow. So there would be no point in seeding 11.0.1 to those getting 11.1 tomorrow.why do we have to delete the beta profile to install this? I like staying in the beta for future minor beta releases
Because this is not a beta release and beta profile basically only allows for beta releases. You can always install the beta profile again.why do we have to delete the beta profile to install this? I like staying in the beta for future minor beta releases
It's not even so much about trusting as it is about different people sometimes having different experiences for one reason or another (sometimes even on placebo type of level).11.01 on my 7 + is almost no different than 11..
I have no idea what other people are seeing. Its the same thing.Home button lag is there...
Cant trust anyone until you do it yourself now a days.
Must be some super placebo. It's not even so much about trusting as it is about different people sometimes having different experiences for one reason or another (sometimes even on placebo type of level).
It has nothing to do with trusting others. Every single person has their devices configured differently. There are hundreds if not thousands of variables that go into play. How many apps are opened, whats your RAM usage, did you restore as new, and on and on and on. Without a doubt, the issue is gone on my 8Plus. I tested it 40+ times. The real test will be my Air 2 this evening.11.01 on my 7 + is almost no different than 11..

well i have like 10 ios devices, now i have to uninstall the profile on each one, reboot, install 11.0.1, reboot, install beta profile, reboot. I don't remember it being like this in iOS 9 or 10, they always pushed out even the small updates like this to public beta/dev users.....ughBecause this is not a beta release and beta profile basically only allows for beta releases. Can you post a video when you have the chance? It has nothing to do with trusting others. Every single person has their devices configured differently. I've already been asked. I won't be able to until 6PM PDT at the earliest. Can you post a video when you have the chance?
You can always provide feedback to Apple.well i have like 10 ios devices, now i have to uninstall the profile on each one, reboot, install 11.0.1, reboot, install beta profile, reboot. Okay, but if you plan on updating to 11.1 tomorrow, why not just wait? Seems silly to install 11.0.1 for less than 24 hours. Or leave the profile off and stick with public release of 11.0.1 for the time being. You are choosing to install 11.0.1, then 11.1beta 1 back to back. Clearly Apple designed it so you don't have to do that.well i have like 10 ios devices, now i have to uninstall the profile on each one, reboot, install 11.0.1, reboot, install beta profile, reboot. this is the first im hearing about 11.1 beta? How do you know its being released tomorrow. Or are you going based on previous years history? And yeah if thats the case ill just wait thenOkay, but if you plan on updating to 11.1 tomorrow, why not just wait? Seems silly to install 11.0.1 for less than 24 hours.
