It's been a little screwy for me too. Dates are all jumbled up, to where you can tell they're clearly not accurate. I have apps that were updated weeks ago yet labeled for "today." The list isn't accurate or properly chronological. Also don't like how months are denoted as "1m, 2m, etc." They look like minutes to me, no reason they can't be labeled "1mo."
Yeah it dunno if its something a uodate might fix or its apples end on the app store?

splash screen for settings.app now working instead of showing a weird landscape image

I dunno if its just me but still when i go to an app on the app store and click update history and look down the list the timing is all wrong like it goes from 2 weeks ago to 1 day ago does anyone else see this

Yes, I noticed this yesterday, strange bug.

why do we have to delete the beta profile to install this? I like staying in the beta for future minor beta releases

You don't have to delete the profile and just use iTunes to update. Beta profile will only grab betas only from server and not public release builds.

Moving from iOS 10.3.3 to iOS 11.0.1 on my iPhone 7 Plus... I don't know if this update's good but I have watch os 4 on my watch so...

This is a new feature and only disconnect from currently connected network. To complete turn off WiFi or bluetooth, you will need to go into settings. It is intended function and not a bug.

I can see why they did this because thinking about it, it can be frustrating when the easier way to simply disconnect from an access point you switch the entire thing off and forget to turn WiFi back on and start using your data! At least this way you disconnect and then would automatically connect to another point without having to remember to switch in WiFi again!

Now that I think about it I like the new method!

When “Settings” is not in app switcher and I launch it in landscape mode, I briefly see a black screen before it loads.

In portrait mode, it doesn’t do this behavior.

Wasn’t doing this in 11.0

Anybody experiencing this on iPad Pro 10.5 and 11.01? Thanks.

Installed iOS 11.0.1 on my iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6 and a 2017 iPad. Smooth and non-eventful install on all three devices. Performance is excellent on all three with fluid and responsive UI. On the iPhone 6 there appears to be a slight improvement in overall responsiveness in opening and closing apps especially the Camera app. On the others performance is on par with iOS 11 GM. Of course I am one of those that did not have issues such as stuttering or lag. Battery performance on iOS 11.0.1 looks to be on track to be slightly better than iOS 11 GM based on my iPhone 7 Plus. I fully charged it immediately after updating to iOS 11.0.1. Of course I'll have a better assessment after running it for more than 24 hours. I my opinion iOS 11 is the best release ever since...well I am not sure when but at least since the last two or three releases of iOS.

While I know many of you will give me the same advice you give for every issue (sounds snarky, not meant to be though), I’m having a lot of the performance issues that seemed to be better on 11.0.1, come back now that I’ve used my phone for the afternoon. Mainly screen flickers and frame rate drops that were super smooth just 4 hours ago, and some freezes.
I’m not going to restore my phone (and setup as new) to see if it helps as I did that last week and although some issues improved, it brought other issues that weren’t there before. Guess we’ll see how 11.1 goes (tomorrow I hope).

You may try this. Did you OTA or iTunes update? I recommend updating through iTunes. Before updating, I would close apps in the appswitcher first, update then turn off the device for a minute before turn it back on. I might help resolve some issues. .

I used iTunes, and I actually do close all apps in the App Switcher before any update. Never heard of someone else who does that too haha but cool. Maybe there is some sense to my insanity. I don’t do the “turn off for a minute after updating.” What does that do other than a restart? Cool down?

No idea but it's been a routine for me whenever I update. I don't experience as many issues everyone is reporting. I can't really explain it but sometimes it helps. If I do experience issue, it's just something really minuscule. Sometimes, turning off the device could help with some glitches? It works for me lol

No flicker, no message or app crash as yet for me on my 7.

All of my music (offline download from Apple Music) has been deleted since the update, I don't know why it happened, and obviously I hadn't deleted it myself

You're not alone! I close all apps too haha. Even clear the RAM just to make sure nothing will hang up during the update process.

Reset all settings took care of this issue.

well i have like 10 ios devices, now i have to uninstall the profile on each one, reboot, install 11.0.1, reboot, install beta profile, reboot. I don't remember it being like this in iOS 9 or 10, they always pushed out even the small updates like this to public beta/dev users.....ugh

I wouldn't worry about iOS 11.0.1. Public Beta testers will get iOS 11.1 in a couple days according to a previous post. I'm not going to go through the hassle of deleting the profile, updating and then reinstalling the profile just for a couple days. I'll wait till I get a Public Beta updates notice in a couple days.
