My 7 Plus keeps locking up and freezing. Soft reset does not fix the problem. Tried downgrading to iOS 10.3.3, but i think apple stopped signing it.
According to ipsw.me, Apple is still signing 10.3.3. Maybe the downgrade failed, it may be worth another attempt. Keep an eye out on MacRumors too, typically an article is posted when a previous software version stops being signed.

Apple should still be signing 10.3.3 at this moment; least they are according to ipsw.me

anyone's iPhone 8 plus taking a long time to do updates?

It took about 15 minutes to update to iOS 11.0.1 and now with iOS 11.0.2 I timed it

took about 10 secs to download the 200mb+ update, took 9 minutes for the bar to get to the RIGHT and prepare the update and took 3 minutes at the apple logo update screen.

My fiancé's iPhone 8 plus which is junk loaded with apps and what not took about 5 minutes to flash to 11.0.1

I haven't tested 11.0.2 on hers yet.

I did not do mine OTA - worked flawlessly through iTunes with no issues.

I updated my dad's iPhone 7+ OTA and it updated flawlessly as well with no issues.

I updated my 7 Plus, my wife’s 7 Plus, and my iPP 10.5 all OTA and all were flawless installs. No new issues to record at this time. Still he same old home button delay and 3D Touch studder.

Im restoring back to 11 .
11.0.2 kills battery faster than any other iOS ive used
[doublepost=1507083267][/doublepost]thats on an 8Plus

Since I updated my SE to 11.0.2, it started getting really hot. So I downgraded back to 11.0.1, and the overheating didn't stop.

I checked my battery usage, and iCloud Backup has used 58% of my battery in the past 24 hours. So I went to try and turn it off but the option was greyed out. So I logged out of iCloud and now the phone is much cooler. This is so weird.

Still getting irregular non blurred status bar in the widget screen. Not a major issue and it fixes itself and comes back. So don’t know the cause.

Can’t download music Since update. Can add to library but when I hit the down arrow to download the song, it just spins. Any ideas?

Did the update this morning for 11.0.2 and since then my 7+ keeps turning Do Not Disturb on by it self.
Ill turn it off and then within a few mins its back on again automatically.

My two year old iPod touch 6 battery life is back to normal under .02

Under .00 and .01 it was insanely bad. Literally less than an hour of use and it would be dead.

People are really freaking out about this 1/20th of second of a delay with animations, lol

It feels like the time between pressing the home button and the animation finishing is nearly half a second! Multiply that by the dozens or perhaps hundreds of times you close an app each day (not to mention the many other animations that appear to have been slowed) and it makes a huge difference to the feeling of responsiveness when using the device. It’s way too slow. It’s not just the delay but the speed of animations contributing to the sluggishness I feel when using the device.

When I first got my 7 and 7 Plus I remember being thrilled by its zippiness, particularly in closing apps. This feeling has now turned to frustration and even resentment towards Apple because the phone now feels like it “can’t keep up” and is slow to use. There’s no way that an iPhone 7 (or 8 or X for that matter) should feel sluggish on account of artificially programmed delays and animation speeds.

Hey Apple, at least give us a choice! I had no problem with the zippy animations in iOS 10. If others did then let it be an accessibility option to slow them down, such as an extra option in display accommodations in addition to the one letting you turn them off completely. I want animation speeds doubled across the board!

I’ve downgraded to iOS 10 and I won’t be back until this is confirmed as fixed. You’ve also made me hesitant to upgrade iOS in future, where previously I was happy to install updates as soon as possible and with no questions asked.

It fixed my network issue.. on iOS 11 and iOS 11.0.1 I used to get only 2 bars,... just a few minute into my update, it seems I'm getting all 4 bars... now I don't know if it's a bug fix or not.. but certainly, my network connectivity has improved

My vibrations seem to be out of wack. Just noticed it with a notification. It’s really harsh and jarring. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have still this issue on iOS 11.0.2:
  • List of available Wi-Fi networks not showing when accessing via Quick Settings on Settings icon.

My iP 6 is all over the shop now. Siri doesn't work, email will only display in panoramic mode, volume on phone calls is very low (normal increase using button doesn't work), apps hanging or closing all the time.

I was a die-hard apple (with a small "a") supporter, I've just about had enough.

Conspiracy theory: apple ios updates are there to slowly (or quickly as apple desire) make previous phone models defunct. They want you to buy their hardware obviously but they want you to buy it even quicker now. As has been said on these forums, apple has become too greedy, they were losing some market cap to Android and frankly, I hope the Chinese kick their backside now. Kind of strange that your iphone is developed in California but made in China isn't it? apple's intellectual property is now in the hands of China Inc.

Would you not agree that a phone should last longer than 2-3 years? apple has now lost just one (loyal) customer, but I hope many others walk and show them that they are not the "be all and end all" in the smartphone industry.

Kind regards to all on here.

Battery dropped 7% overnight on airplane mode. Usually it was 1-2%. We’ll see how an entire day goes before declaring this release horrible for battery.
