iOS 11.0.2 Bug Fixes, Changes and Improvements

Seeing as you’ve only lost 1/6 of your battery capacity with that usage, I’d say you’re doing pretty well.

Well... I have a phone appointment with Apple on Monday. My phone freezes/locks up so much, that it is basically inoperable. I'm hoping they give me a new phone.

That’s awful. Since going back to 10.3.3 is not possible anymore, I’d restore it to 11.0.2 using iTunes and set it up as new. That’s what I did. It’s working pretty well.

Here’s my 7 Plus around the same battery percentage. Restored to 11.0.2 and set up as new using iTunes.

Lately orientation on my iPad gets all screwed up if I launch a landscape only game while the iPad is in portrait mode. All the notifications come off left side of the screen even though the iPad is in landscape orientation. Sometimes after quitting the game the orientation remains stuck, though usually I can fix that by locking the screen for awhile. It’s still annoying.

4 hours 64% , meaning 1 hour 10%, for nonstop usage ?

I tried nonstop usage (browsing, tapatalk, news app, youtube) for 5 hours, batt 0% LOL

Don’t know if this is considered good, average or bad (iphone 7, latest os)

Yes, 4 hours of non stop usage. It was mostly texting on WhatsApp, browsing Facebook, Instagram and Safari. Always on WiFi.

Standby battery life os atrocious... Every time I wake the display I can see how the precentage drops. iPhone SE 11.0.2 clean install.. Apple get your **** together!

Try playing Asphalt 8 you will not get 3 hours usage

Really ? Wow. I never tested it since i always charge my phone while driving, so never have accurate screen on time. Maybe nonstop and one day SOT has different effect to the battery life

I already told the time. 1h and 39 minutes!!!!! It is shaming. Not even two or three uses of WhatsApp. Basically I had no time to do nothing with the iPhone in almost 2h....

Now it has 24% and it is gone 6 hours. Using music and tapatalk and WhatsApp and few other apps

Using Gmail on IOS Mail App, does "Fetch Automatically" work for real time email notifications or is it better to stick with "Every 15 Mins" ?

1. Look at the apple music on my ipad air, there’s 1 ugly seperator between music playing and search. I know this is a very small detail, but since i paid for the service, I expect it to be nice. Anyone ipad has the same problem ?

2. And when I scroll down the library list, it’s very sluggish. It’s my ipad or it’s bug ?

3. And lastly, i tried to edit my screen capture, but the editor bar is blocking the screen and I cannot get rid of it. Is it also bug or there’s any way to edit in full screen ?

Okay, I'm thinking that part of the battery drain is Siri compiling data throughout using the phone so that it can offer Safari suggestions and messages suggestions (big thing they mentioned about how Siri can now pay attention to what you're texting and browsing and then offering suggestions in Safari and Texting)....

Try turning background refresh off, and Siri suggestions... and pretty much any Siri settings you can find. Maybe the battery will get better then?

That's what I would do if I had iOS 11. But I don't, becuase there are too many unhappy people on iOS 11. heh

I never turn siri on, never use it anyway. But this should not be the case. Our history usage will be only saved on cache for siri to use as references. It should not have any effect to the battery. But who knows. Apple should really clean up this mess

Battery life is much better today on my 7 Plus. I’m at 54% after 3.75 hours of usage (including gaming). I rebooted yesterday if that made a difference

I'm using the 11.1 public beta and wish i had left my 6S+ on 11.0.2. It's the first time i've felt this as usually things get better they go along, however 11.1 beta to me is backward. I have stuttering opening apps', 3D touch delay on first use, battery usage is only good if you don't use the phone. When you use the phone its poor. Already today, phone usage is 39 mins that that was Tweetbot, Facebook, very quick video clip through twitter, I am at 91% with standby of 1 hr 40 mins. Its not good.
