The update broke blur background on my iPad when swiping up control center.

Mainly hoping that the battery life is back to normal on 7P. Those devices are so pricey and we get this sh*tty OS... That pisses me off. Losing faith in Apple here honestly.

Updated on iPhone 7 Plus. So far no new bugs. Don’t notice any steps backwards in performance, except 3D Touch seems to studder slightly worse. It’s probably because those of use like me who have fixated on the 3D studder are probably overly observant of it now. It’s not so much that the 3D Touch animations are slow, just not as fluid as iOS 10.3.3.
[doublepost=1507775926][/doublepost]As an aside, I did discover that I am unable to change 3D Touch settings from light to medium to firm. Never tried to use those setting since upgrading from iOS 10.3.3 so not sure if when that started.

I find that the 6 plus which was struggling with iOS 11 is definitely smoother on the latest update. I had tried going back to 10.3.3 because 11 was terrible on my 6 plus but then my Apple Watch on Watch os 4 didnt work so was forced to update back to iOS 11.

12 hours after update my 7 feels better. Smoother and less stuttery. Home button delay is nearly gone.

Battery drain on my 8+. Usage and standby the same and can’t seem to fix it. Was fine with 11.02 but had screen freezes.

Hoping this fixes the battery life issue introduced to my 6S+ by 11.0.2. Unfortunately scrolling is still juddery.

I can't believe some of the earliest iOS 11 beta bugs is still there like the voice memo bug and smart invert colours bugs STILL not fixed in 11.0.3

IMO iOS 11 and high sierra is one of the biggest failure launch with stupid bugs thats unacceptable to be on a public release. I'm really disappointed with Apple lately with their lack of quality control in software.

I’ve noticed a few bugs, some can in 11.0.2 like raise to wake activating the headphone button (play/pause and disconnecting calls)
Also getting weird audio on notifications, notification noise but no alert on the lock screen.
It’s been a bit choppy too.

I’m anticipating messages in the cloud becoming available so I can do a restore. That could easily address these issues

Battery still terrible iPhone 7.

Stutter animation seems to be either gone or lessened in the iPhone 7.

BUT,
somehow made iPad mini 4 stutter/choppy now.

lol.

What do you mean actually? What’s “Music Dock with car”?
They mean the lightning/USB connection with the car (for hands free and music).

I'm actually thinking this is something that is pushed to the device after the OS load, as downgrading to iOS 11.0.1 fixed my problems. Then I spent many hours creating all of my customizations (reloading apps, etc), now the problem's back. I can't see how app data would impact the USB connectivity.

More testing required to confirm....(going to restore the original 11.0.1 backup).

Edit: Actually, I rolled back to 10.3.3 (as I was still allowed to and have a 6s). Can't take the chance on putting 11.0.1 back on and then whatever setting is causing this dysfunction being pushed to the device again.

Stuck until someone reports this as being fixed (not holding my breath). Also means no new toys until it is....not swapping out my car this year.

Exactly...
Car perfectly worked with 10.3.3....since 11.0...simply goes mad....

Sharing FWIW regarding car Bluetooth.
My car is old and a PITA regarding BT. It doesn’t have any of the new Sync tech. It’s an old 2011 GX 460.

For example, it pairs Phone and Auido separately and it doesn’t work well when you do Audio first. I have learned the little quirks.

Since iOS 11 I had one day where it was flaky (thought it might be signal) with 11.0.1 but since then with 11.0.2 and public beta 11.1 v1 and 11.1 v2 it has worked great. I have taken calls, played music and had Google Maps giving me directions over BT.

This might not be it for everyone, but it might be worth clearing out all devices on your car BT and starting fresh.

I'm fortunate that they still have the rollback to 10.3.3 available for the iPhone 6s - so I just did that.

Heh. I can't actually do anymore testing. It looks like all the testing I've done over the last several days has killed my car's battery. :) (going to Uber over to the parts store to get a new one).

Think I'll leave it on 10.3.3 until someone confirms this is fixed.

It's going to make my Apple Watch less than useful though.... :(
