[doublepost=1507849088][/doublepost]I forgot to mention that I did have Spectrum (Time Warner) come out and replaced our router. There has been no issue since then until last night. I guess i'll just wait for the update.

Also, i know its not the modem. My husband has a 7, running 11.0.3 and has had no drops.

They mean the lightning/USB connection with the car (for hands free and music).

I'm actually thinking this is something that is pushed to the device after the OS load, as downgrading to iOS 11.0.1 fixed my problems. Then I spent many hours creating all of my customizations (reloading apps, etc), now the problem's back. I can't see how app data would impact the USB connectivity.

More testing required to confirm....(going to restore the original 11.0.1 backup).

Edit: Actually, I rolled back to 10.3.3 (as I was still allowed to and have a 6s). Can't take the chance on putting 11.0.1 back on and then whatever setting is causing this dysfunction being pushed to the device again.

Stuck until someone reports this as being fixed (not holding my breath). Also means no new toys until it is....not swapping out my car this year.

Interesting as CarPlay (Both USB and Bluetooth) work perfect for me on my 7+ while on 11.0, 11.0.1, 11.1 betas so couldn’t tell you.

Also works great on my wife’s 6S+ iPhone on both of our cars CarPlay.

If you say it was working fine til you reloaded apps, then maybe there’s an app causing it instead the firmware

App's can't get low level enough to impact the interface with the car. This has to be something that the Carrier or Apple is pushing to the device.

I'd love to do a test with 11.0.1 again, but I don't want to gamble that Apple may have turned off the signing for the 6s and 10.3.3.

Testing my friend's 8+ out tomorrow - if his device works with my Tucson, then I may just have to buy a new phone. :)

I wish I had CarPlay - if I had a system that got regular updates, I'd be fine. This is a 2011...the firmware hasn't been updated since it was shipped - and Modis (the manufacturer) isn't doing any. If Apple breaks functionality with it, the only hope is that Apple fixes what they did.

ios 11 didn't connect to a lots of cars....usb and bluetooth also...
bug isn't fixed yet with 11.0.3, i tried yesterday :(

Well all ios11 versions has worked great with both USB and BT even the 11.1b2 I’m on and works great with my wife’s 11.0.3. Connects both ways on both cars no problem, so really that’s all that matters I guess lol

An update to my earlier post, so far so good. iOS 11.0.3 has been the most stable, least quirky (as it should be) and system speeds across the board appear to be where iOS 10.3.3 was. A little delay in apps returning to home screen and still a little studder in 3D Touch but otherwise, it’s all good. It’s running on my iPad Pro 10.5 and no problems either.

Is anyone experiencing major, deafening static on phone calls on 11.0.3? I’m trying to see if it’s a hardware problem vs software. I searched and saw that there were issues with crackling and static on 11.0.2. and I was wondering if it is similar? I just received a refurbed 6+ from Asurion as replacement and I can’t make any calls at all...the static is ear-splitting! I’ll probably just go and get an 8+ and get a refund as these phones are junk from that company. Thanks...

The in-call speaker clipping/popping was resolved with 11.0.2. WTS, it was never loud static.. it was low but annoying.

Thanks for verifying. Must be hardware as it’s not happening as much the more I use it. Weird.

Why are my speeds so much slower over LTE and WiFi? Loading webpages is a chore for iOS11 in the 6s. This phone kicked ass on the previous software.

My 6plus doesn't have static on calls. 11.0.3

My App Store Updater has uh stopped working... there was a Facebook update last night which never installed and now my Updates list is no longer loading even though there’s supposedly an update for an app...

Pull down on the updates screen to refresh the list. Also sometimes you need to reboot the device to get updates to actually update.

On my 7 Plus, 11.0.2 and .0.3 have been causing an intermittent, but fairly repetitive issue where, after installing an app or app update, the progress "pie" goes to completion, but does not disappear. Then any apps that aren't already running simply do not load; they show the splash screen infinitely, and are difficult to remove from the app switcher. Restart fixes it and makes apps useable again.

Yeah, ended up rebooting. Obviously already know to pull down but nothing simply showed up. Fun bug.

My iPhone 8 won't stay connected in my 15, Acura MDX. Guess I'll wait for the next update.
Oh, I did re-test with 11.0.1. The problem (with lightning and bluetooth) wasn't there after upgrading from 10.3.3. And wasn't there for hours. Then (with doing no other changes since the last time it worked) I noticed that my activity and health data had been restored.
Sure enough, could no longer connect via lightning and the bluetooth interface is wonky as all hell.

Not holding my breath for Apple to fix this...other people have contacted support to be told "Get your manufacturer to fix their problem". *sigh* Looking at replacing the receiver.

Of course, problem persists in 11.0.3.

Installed 11.0.3 on my 5s - running quite well and no noticeable battery drain or lag. In fact some apps appear to be loading a bit quicker.
I’m quite surprised and pleased overall given some of the nightmares I’ve read in this thread.

Wonky is right. I had to buy ear pods because it goes in and out.

For Apple to say its up to manufacture to fix it is not reality Bluetooth doesn’t change, Apple change something with Bluetooth.

So, basically, 11.1 is going to fix all the things lol awesome :)

In the past few years the .1 release is primarily a new feature release with some bug fixes. Most bug fixes don’t hit until the .2 release in Jan/Feb and iOS doesn’t become mostly bug free until late Spring.
