Yep same on my 6S, 11.0.3 has been the worst yet, My phone for the first time won't even make it through the day. With the screen on when browsing I can see it drop at 1-2% per min. Not impressed

Hoping I can hold on for the X to hopefully fix such issues! Or maybe the next update will fix it, not sure. I've seen others have success with resetting all settings. Perhaps I should try that.

In stark contrast to my MacBook Pro (mid 2014 model) which still hums along for about 8--9 hours on a single charge on macOS High Sierra. Different hardware & software, but still.

Came to this thread hoping to see something good about 11.0.3 and now after seeing this, I'm continuing to stay on 10.3.3.

I've noticed that for some reason the default play mode on the Music app is shuffle (after updating to 11.0.3). Took me a good hour or so to realize how to turn it off (tap on the song playing so it pulls up the album art, and go to the bottom). Why isn't it more clearly indicated that shuffle is activated?

If you are going to go by some complaints, then no version would really ever be good. Even 10.3.3 has had complaints.

Looks like a software issue to me as well. iOS 11 seems to have had a lot of trouble with the blurred and transparency affects throughout the UI for whatever reason. It seems improved on iOS 11 beta 3, though some are still having problems with the iPad multitasking/control center screen.

When you say that it only appears on a black background, is it a completely black background with no text at all, or just your lockscreen? Can you post a screenshot of what's behind the image you posted?

[doublepost=1507849088][/doublepost]I forgot to mention that I did have Spectrum (Time Warner) come out and replaced our router. There has been no issue since then until last night. I guess i'll just wait for the update.
Did you have any more issues?

Just updated my IPP 10.5 and so far really liking everything, especially the dock which really helps my workflow, and no problems. One question, though, is there a way to change the pale gray color on the lock screen? It is sooo light and sort of annoying and even after reading the Ars Technica breakdown of IOS11 I didn't see any mention of being able to do this. Thanks for the help. (to be clear I am talking about the screen after you hit the home button where you can punch in your ID code.)

You can set a dark lock screen and it will subsequently make the screen you are talking about darker.

How do you do this? I tried enabling Smart Invert but that was way to hard on the eyes while using Safari.
I should specify, just set your lockscreen wallpaper to something that is dark. This is in Settings—> Wallpaper—>Choose New Wallpaper
The black wallpaper included with iOS 11 will look like this (on iPhone at least) for the screen in question.

Both lock and home screens are my own deep color photos so not sure why the gray is still there. Thanks for the help.

can you please go over a complete black picture in full screen and then swipe up to show the control center on the black picture , screenshot and let's see if you notice the black/gray vertical lines

On my iPhone 8 plus, iOS 10.0.3 is running pretty smooth. Has fixed a few problems I was having, and my battery life is still great. For me it’s been a great update! I did mine through iTunes if that makes any difference.
