General iOS 11.0 GM Bug Fixes And Changes

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but you can’t use reachability to swipe down Notification Center. You have to reach all the way at the top, that wasn’t the case in iOS 10. Big oversight.

Yep. I did it a week ago. Went back to iOS 10 through iTunes. Reset. And update through iTunes. Hardly a difference than before I had did the reset. I’d say it’s really weird.
 
On my iPhone 7 Plus I have huge problems moving apps into/outof folders and between pages of a folder. If I want to move an app from second page to first page within a folder, 9 times out of 10 the app will go out of the folder and land on the home screen.

Anyone else with this problem?

So what does it mean when Apple updates the issues you submitted? Cause I don’t know if means they are updating or considering or closing or what. It’s even weirder when it’s isuses you reported many betas ago.

I’ve found the iPad gets very confused between moving apps to a new location on home screen and opening a side view app. I’ve had numerous instances where I try to move an app and it refuses to make a space to insert it.

iPhone seems like to move easier, but multi move is still flaky.
 
Does anyone had any problems with Waze after the ios11 public release update? It was perfectly fine on 10.3.3, but now on ios11 keeps loosing the GPS signal and its impossible to use to navigate. I have tried reseting network settings, location and make sure that Waze location its on while using the app.

Any help will be appreciated!

Curious issue here. Updated to IOS11 on a 6S+. Everything works fine except charging from my office computer. it is saying "charging" but the battery keeps going down.

Have you tried taking a look into the lightning port to see if it collected any dust or lint blocking the pins? I use like those post it notes and fold a really tiny swab to sweep around

will try now. but i doubt my lightning or USB ports changed drastically in couple hours.

Actually it does not have problem. Initiall I also have the same problem with you. Later on I discovered that when you move app within folder, the app icon that you are going to move to next page of the same folder cannot fall outside of the folder, meaning you move the icon half fall on the folder itself and half out side the folder and wait a while for it to go to the next page. 7 plus user here as well.
 
Just had a system crash (black screen spinning wheel) when stopping screen recording and returning to home screen.

IPP 9.7”

Using the iPhone 7 Plus.

Updated via public release yesterday. So far so good. Minor bugs in messages (quick reply doesn’t always work), 3D Touch is quite laggy. Battery life isn’t horrendous, but I do lose battery life faster in comparison to 10.3.3.

I’ll update later this evening with further findings
 
Can't get WhatsApp backup to work with iOS11. Don't know if it is related to iOS11 or not.
I want to setup my iPhone as new but before I can I have to create a back-up of WhatsApp first.

In Settings>Safari>Advanced>Experimental Features, should any of these be enabled by default?

Mine has Constant Properties, and Viewport Fit enabled - not touched this at all

On the iPad? Yes, these still work.

Like all new developer capabilities, this one will be used for a lot of nonsense apps. But there will be those where everyone will say "why didn't I think of that?" I really think this has the potential to be very big.

Does any one have an idea what the red dot on the AppStore logo in iMessage is and how to get rid of it ?
