General iOS 11.0 GM Bug Fixes And Changes

now before anyone starts, i know a beta is, well, a peek and not meant to be reliable....But..... I have tested ios11 pub beta 1-10. All the same issues on the 7+ persist thru all beta's.
After the 11.0 install:
The phone will not dial out. When dialing out the phone goes to mute you cannot get mute to turn off. The speaker is black, so no speaker.
Touch an app to start, wait 8 seconds. it starts. i haven't had any compatibility issues with my apps when they finally start.
Swipe up for the control center, its useless. Even if i almost push my finger then the screen, there's no response.
Dictation, not possible the mic is greyed out and i don't like typing everything. .
Siri?? Not happening. It askes me what i want but will not listen to my plea for information.
When an app requires scrolling, such as select your state - horrible. I've had better luck with a slot machine.
Try to slide a button for say turn on Airplane mode.... the button when i slide it does a slo-mo animation changing to an egg shape in the process until it arrives in the final resting place. Like Baywatch.. yikes
I did not try a clean install. i don't intend to do so. I shouldn't have to. [ i was insane enough to use my primary phone yeah yeah ] yes yes i sent lots of feedback to Apple.
Many testers have reported success. So I must have the iPhone 7+ from hell or some testers are in denial
i am back to good old reliable 10.3.3 and remain hopeful for a flawless install on 9/19. meh

Just installed it to my 7 plus. Not smooth at all. Animations are laggy. When I open close app (especially safari) there is a stutter every time. Very disappointed so far. Maybe it’s indexing?

Unfortunately it’s not indexing. iOS 11 has some nice features but at its current state it’s nowhere as smooth and fluid as iOS 10.3.3
Then again 10.3.3 was a finished product while iOS 11 is a work in progress. Hopefully Apple will iron these things out sooner than later.
I'm talking about 3D Touch from left side of the phone. When you harder press from left to right then last apps is quickly open. I use this everyday.
Anyone notice when you go in and out of a folder, text under desktop icons sort of flicker? If I look at the Maps icon while going in and out of a folder, you can almost see the bottom of the icon and text flutter.

Ah right, I still double tap the home button for that. 3D Touch I'm sure is better, I just never adjusted to that
So far animations on my 7 plus are right, I can’t notice 3D Touch lag, home button delay is still there, until yesterday I have installed watch OS 4, and it’s nice that when your listening music on the iPhone with AirPods, with an app that it’s not Apple Music, in my case Deezer, when you glance at your watch, it will show that app watch app and give you controls for the music.
I've been trying to get the GM release (was on PB), it just keeps saying "update requested" but not actually going out & d'loading/installing. Any idea what that's about or how to fix it? I tried powering-off & then powering back on, but still no go. Sorry if I'm missing something, haven't had time lately to be fully up-to-speed on everything.

My guess is people are going to tell you to reset your network settings.
However, the easier option is to delete the beta profile, reboot, and reinstall it. Then attempt your update again.
I still can't believe the biggest moan about this release is that 3D Touch has a nano-second frame drop. Seriously....
That’s about the only thing I can see other than some odd stutters in odd not frequently used places.
i just restored to ios 11 gm as new and i can guarantee you most of the issues here are mostly ********, are due to "placebos", or are greatly exaggerated

as I expected...there is no way apple would release a software as bad as people are making it seem on here haha
I've been running the GM release on my 7+ and everything is working really nicely. I do see what people are talking about regarding the calculator lag, but it's really only noticeable if you're literally going at lightning speed. Normal speed brings perfect function.
