So I do know that you can’t turn wifi and Bluetooth off from control center. However the only concern I have is how do I know when it is connected to a device since it always stays dark as if it’s connected in iOS 10. Any way to figure this out?
My guess is people are going to tell you to reset your network settings.
However, the easier option is to delete the beta profile, reboot, and reinstall it. Then attempt your update again.
Go back to iOS 10.3.3 while you can. Or perhaps just go out get one of those snazzy Android phones. As recall you don't have any budgetary limitations. For me iOS 11 GM is running fantastically well on my iPhone 7 Plus and 2017 iPad. Fluid, smooth, fast and excellent battery life to boot. No complaints whatsoever about iOS 11 GM!The home button delay is not tiny. It makes my 6 feel faster than my 7. If this is not fixed it’s ruined the experience for those on older devices.
Check in Settings under iPhone Storage to see if the GM was downloaded at all. If you see it there, delete it and restart the software update.Tried that and still now go, WTF...
Did via the beta site, not via dev site as suggested in this article:

You could simply download the full IPSW, open iTunes and do an Option/Update on your iPad. It's a quick and safe way to update an iOS device without overwriting your setting and apps.I can't get my iPad 10.5" to see the GM update (it's still on the most recent public beta). My iPhone 7+ sees it fine. Has anyone been able to get their 10.5" updated?

Settings—> General—> iPhone Storage. Wait for all the content to populate, the scroll down and look for the GM.tried a search for "iPhone storage" nothing coming up in setting, you got an exact path?
(Sorry, only been -somewhat- heavily using iOS for a little over a mth)
I have one those iPhone 7 Plus that you are having issues with. In my case I have not had any of the issues you are describing. And no I am not in denial. I am very happy with iOS 11 GM. You might try an absolute clean restore to iOS 11 to test and verify your issues. Then restore your data and apps gradually. It could be a matter of a third party rogue app that has not been updated for iOS 11 by its respective developer. Waiting until 9/19 for the final release may not solve your problem unless you take the steps to identify the source of your problems. After all that is what the beta cycle is for.now before anyone starts, i know a beta is, well, a peek and not meant to be reliable....But..... I have tested ios11 pub beta 1-10. All the same issues on the 7+ persist thru all beta's.
After the 11.0 install:
The phone will not dial out. When dialing out the phone goes to mute you cannot get mute to turn off. The speaker is black, so no speaker.
Touch an app to start, wait 8 seconds. it starts. i haven't had any compatibility issues with my apps when they finally start.
Swipe up for the control center, its useless. Even if i almost push my finger then the screen, there's no response.
Dictation, not possible the mic is greyed out and i don't like typing everything. .
Siri?? Not happening. It askes me what i want but will not listen to my plea for information.
When an app requires scrolling, such as select your state - horrible. I've had better luck with a slot machine.
Try to slide a button for say turn on Airplane mode.... the button when i slide it does a slo-mo animation changing to an egg shape in the process until it arrives in the final resting place. Like Baywatch.. yikes
I did not try a clean install. i don't intend to do so. I shouldn't have to. [ i was insane enough to use my primary phone yeah yeah ] yes yes i sent lots of feedback to Apple.
Many testers have reported success. So I must have the iPhone 7+ from hell or some testers are in denial
i am back to good old reliable 10.3.3 and remain hopeful for a flawless install on 9/19. meh
:-}

For a GM this just an inexcusable bugPortrait option in Control Center's Camera menu does not work

Are you 3D touching the camera icon and selecting “take portrait”? This is what happened for me, same device-I don't have this issue ..... if I invoke CC from the home screen or the lock screen, select portrait mode, it works as expected.... iPhone 7 Plus iOS 11 GM

This is my preferred upgrade method for any major release. Point releases I OTA but major releases always via IPSW

I figured out what the issue is. It works if the camera is running in multitasking, but if you close it the shortcut doesn’t work. Only for Portrait, the other functions work fine.I wasn't... I was opening CC, selecting camera, switching to portrait.
However, just tried what was in the video and I get the expected outcome... the camera opens and portrait mode is already selected and waiting for me to snap the pic.

Indeed it is laggy... I also have an iPad Pro 9.7... Can't believe that a 1-year old device feels already outdated...My iPad Pro 9.7 is so laggy... Lots of resets and still like it. iOS 10 was alright...
I have been using iOS 11 public beta 1 and currently on GM. My iPad Pro 9.7 doesn’t lag at all. Smooth as butter. And I have been updating OTA instead of the full restore.Indeed it is laggy... I also have an iPad Pro 9.7... Can't believe that a 1-year old device feels already outdated...

So not sure why your iPads are experiencing lags.
