Here’s a new bug: getting a call while typing in quick reply doesn’t completely take over the screen - the text field remains and cannot be manipulated.

Has anybody noticed that apps are always reloading? In iOS 10, apps would stay open in memory for a while. I have noticed lately that they are always reloading even when I've used them within the past hour.

Interesting bug where I’m seeing the iPhone X horizontal bar at the bottom of my screen when the keyboard is visible. Very odd. Have to reboot to fix it. iOS 11.1 beta on 7 Plus.

Downloading 11.1 PB OTA. Really hope the battery drain problem finally will be resolved.

It is needed to deactivate the "assistant touch" by sure in order to reduce the batttery drain

Did you then restore from a backup? My battery life has been awful... I just updated to 11.0.2 but have little hope.

I have restored from a backup from 11.0.1 when i flashed OTA the 11.1 beta1.

So apparently Apple has slowed yet another animation in 11.1 (why Apple?).

The animation when accessing the application switcher when no apps are open has been slowed compared with 11.0.

FFS Apple! Are there any other animations and UI behaviour you intend to slow?

Anyone having split screen issues on the 6s plus when I am on a call half my screen goes away

Hey. iPhone 7 on latest beta 11.1. As 2 other members have posted I also get the half screen going dark on the right hand side while I’m on a call. If I go in any app while on the call then half the screen is black and not responsive. I’m desperate for a fix if anyone has one please reply to this. Thanks

I believe that’s new for iOS 11. Possibly for dynamic icons as I know a couple apps have that now in iOS 11.

Edit: The dynamic icon functionality was introduced in iOS 10.3.

I've had 5 times my whole phone froze, 9 times I got stuck in landscape mode, 13 times I clicked an app and it wouldn't work, probably 15+ app crashes. But Bluetooth is spectacular. I've had to hard reset my phone 6 times today.

Does anyone have an 10.5 or 12.9 2nd gen ipad to check if the animation shutters are still present when switching between apps, especially on safari. After I’ve spent over 2.5k euro on these ipads I’m kinda dissapointed by the overall experience so far.

Looks like Mr. Big Spender got declined. Haha, totally kidding.

I’m having the same issue, even when not using Apple Pay but any payment related notification from my Amex app. After a restart, they show up.

• Unlock animation sped up.
• New pop in animation when opening the camera from the lock screen / cover sheet.
• New bounce animation on opening an app from a notification when inside an app.
• Different and smoother animation when tapping the status bar to scroll to top.
• Multiple emojis (up to three instead of just one) are now suggested for keywords, for example: "LOL".
  
• AssistiveTouch now opens near where the indicator is.
• Updated AssistiveTouch menu with new custom actions.
• Updated icons in AssistiveTouch, for example: Siri, Home & Gestures.
  
• Updated Camera icon under Restrictions.
• Updated tab bar icons in iBooks.

• iBooks third party apps text highlights sharing missing.
• 30 secs auto-lock screen when in Low Power Mode fails randomly.

New Issues

• No haptic feedback after a failed passcode attempt.
• When using Reachability, icons overlap with the dock.
• Missing passcode keyboard when trying to open an app with Siri that needs unlock.
• Very laggy camera in Portrait Mode.
• Trying to add or edit Portrait Lighting on iPhone 8 Plus may either result in a crash once Stage Lighting is selected, or a generic vignette applied
• When using the Apple Smart Keyboard with iPad Pro 2017, holding down command in an app brings up the keyboard shortcut pop-over for the running app, but the keyboard shortcuts for the home screen get overlaid on top, obscuring the app shortcuts

Resolved Issues

• Swiping from the top of the Lock screen no longer brings the clock and date up
• Removed the extra empty line between Game Center and 3rd party apps in the Settings app
• Crackling sound while on the phone through the earpiece seems to be resolved on iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
• Indicator for wireless headphones such as AirPods now appropriately stays blue when connected. In 11.0.1 the blue indicator and source (for example, "iPhone" or "John's Airpods") would alternate initially
• Now Playing widget shows correct album art when Smart Invert is on

Well....on this beta, I can’t be on a call and do anything else or I get the dreaded “half black screen” on the right side.

It happens every single time.

This is annoying me the most.

Was on a call, look at the bottom, white bar, I believe that’s for the iPhone X, for swiping up there to go Home. I hadn’t seen this before anyways.
