Well they made an entire phone dedicated to it, so what did you expect software wise?
Dont know if its mentioned before but one thing thats for sure new is when you tap the clock in the statusbar to quickly scroll up. The animation slows down when its reaching the top.
Guessing it’ll be like the iOS 11 betas where we will probably get the new emojis and some visual changes, new animations etc. a few betas in. I hope to god they fix most of the bugs though.
Since I don’t really see any new features, wouldn’t be surprised if the PB dropped at 1pm (Cupertime)
Just finished updating. Like the new emoji suggester. CC 3D Touch portrait selector works as intended.
I was messaging someone and got an email notification. When I tapped it, there was some sort of line (vertically from the top to bottom of the screen) animation the moved from right to left as I moved from one app to the other.

Everyone says this every beta but look what we ended up with in iOS 11.. slower animations :/ but I hope you’re right.
Two changes I’ve so far noticed:

- No haptic feedback on my SE upon improperly entering passcode
- Safari scroll-to-top (via tapping on status bar) is much smoother

I know, I know. It’s early too, but I was having a fair amount of issues with performance on 11.0.1 and I can say that 11.1 feels remarkably better. I hope I’m right too.

can somebody test which results you get, when you type "car"? i was always annoyed that it brought up only the red car, when i actually wanted the blue one. lol

that's genuine innovation right there! haha. Gonna update to this after work. I hope battery life is better!
That's bad for the environment. They should show a person walking, a person cycling, and someone standing at a bus stop.
I'm just jealous, as mine doesn't show even one emoji. Apparently it's learned predictive behaviour and my phone has learnt I'm no fun.
Agreed. There were definitely betas in 11 this summer that were much smoother and more fluid than the GM.
