3D Touch is so much better wow see all this moaning and people think its over the top really is noticeable, now why couldnt apple fix this before or for the public in 11.0.3 couldnt be that hard, but still the home delay is slightly there not as instant than ios 10 we are so close to near perfect ios 10 speed now come on apple hope final 11.1 is polished seems to be like its going in the right way :)

Has anyone gotten Handoff to work correctly?

I get the icons showing up on the ipad dock and iphone app switcher but when opening them, they are not in sync.

I don't think it's worked correctly since the first ios 11 beta and here it is 11.1 beta 3 and it still isn't working.

I would like to see a new status icon. Maybe a little 3 with a yellow circle around it. This would indicate that triple click is enabled and simple home button actions will be slightly delayed.

I'm boggling a bit at the calculator bug. This is a feature a lot of people use on a day to day basis and this bug could cause incorrect results. Not to mention it's a bug that's so easy to reproduce.

It's been reported so many times, even before iOS 11 came out during the beta period, yet remains unfixed. Why is Apple ignoring this bug, I wonder?

So I downloaded the dev profile through other means and the home button delay is still there. No reduction in delay. If anything it seems a little worse to me.
Bummer. I doubt they will change it back at this point. But maybe just maybe since they fixed the stutter with the 3D Touch. I still think it's a timing design change. I'll remain on 10.3.3 with my 7.

Looks like the "Disappearing Visual Voice Mail" bug may be back...

EDIT: A hard restart got it back without jumping through all the normal hoops (pulling PIN, resetting Voice Mail password, etc...). Phew!

Calling your own phone number should take care of it.

Speculation threads for anything are a waste of time to read, honestly. There are better places to get speculative news than a bunch of people on a website.

So what the heck are you here for then? Seriously. You're the one wasting time on a site called "MacRumors" Instead of mods wasting time on "minute posters" they should focus on the people who offer ZERO value and are here to complain. Someone should register the domains "MacLagComplainers" and "MacBetaSpeculationComplainers".

Perfectly smooth install of iOS 11.1 Beta 3 on iPhone 7 Plus and 2017 iPad. Home button, 3D Touch, unlock, performance, etc are all perfect. In other words the same for me compared to Beta 2. Will monitor battery performance during the next 24 hours but it expect it to be as good or better than Beta 2 which in my case was excellent on both devices.

Radon you best check Dan's post as you might find it helpful.

In the betas this summer, this happened a lot and it took the PIN pulling, resetting, etc... to get it back. If it happens again I'll give your idea a try as that's a lot easier than a hard restart! Thanks!

Highly, highly unlikely. This build is 2-3 weeks old internally. iPhone X units have already shipped with the final 11.1 installed. We won't see a fix for that until 11.1.1 (or 11.0.4 for those not running betas).
iPhone X running on 11.1 GM build may be a different branch compared to 11.1 B3 we received today. The branches might converge at 11.2 beta.

Pinch to close app now ultra smooth but control center is not smooth.
One new bug on this and beta 2 music widget album art is very bad quality

Thanks for the info! Is multitasking when dragging your finger up from an app and going into another still laggy? Also pulling down the notification panel? Those are just awful on beta 2.

Only the 3DT stutter has been fixed. Apart from that everything else is the same. The home button delay seems to be getting worse or that may just be placebo.
