horrible beta how does apple keep making ios 11 worse i dont understand the lag on the x wow fastest phone in the world????

iPhone X is fast but only on public iOS. On beta public or development iOS is very buggy. Beta 3 stuffed up my volume. Beta 2 was normal loud but now beta 3 is very low. Can not hear ring and text sounds.

WTF.. my iPhone 7 is at the end of day at 25%. I plugged it in and go to sleep and after 3 hours it is on 14%??
Never seen this before.. this beta is sh*t..

Sorry should made it more clear on my 1st post above.

Would this put me back to iOS 11.2.1 if I delete my public beta profile? Without losing anything. Cheers.

No. You have to use iTunes and either restore or download the IPSW and “update” to the current public build. The latter option has been known to allow keeping everything as is but has also caused problems for some.

Yeah I’ve been having charging issues today as well. Now that I’m home and sitting on the couch it seems to have resolved itself. First problem I’ve had with any beta of iOS 11.

Correct me if I’m wrong but deleting the beta profile will only stop you getting betas, the only way to go back to 11.2.1 is if you do a restore from a backup on your computer and you will lose some bits of data that were made after that that are not also saved in the cloud.

This beta destroyed my iPad Pro 10.5. I’ll tap on an app and it takes 10-15 seconds to open. Laggy all over. Major delays in everything I do. Anyone else?

Second this on my gen 1 12.9 - it's horrible and I don't even want to use it at the moment...

This make no sense, at all. Why, pray tell, would you want to wait until the battery runs down, until you install the beta? Please inform me? I don't follow this thread closely enough to know, so forgive me if I have missed something.
Thanks

Because I wanted to keep monitoring my battery life for that whole day until it ran down, but I can’t do it once I update because the stats reset. It’s NBD though.

Side note, is anyone else’s widget page laggy sometimes? Mine gets stuck sometimes and it’s really jumpy when I try to scroll up and down. (I’ll try to get a video if it does it again.) Might try deleting and re-adding all the widgets and/or a soft reset.

What is your definition of “massive”?
Don't follow him down the rabbit hole. Prior to getting the X, there was a "massive" delay with the home button. It was only a matter of time before he found some "massive" delay or issue with his X and trust that it will NEVER be resolved.

iPhone X

The Music Player widget sticks on the lock screen after a connection with Ford Sync audio systems. A shutdown or restart is the only way to remove it.

This issue seems to get fixed but return every few betas.
I have had that issue in the past with a few different betas but luckily not with this one. (But of course you've probably jinxed me now and it will happen after I drive to work in the morning so THANKS!) :)

anybody getting the error message when you try to sync with Itunes on this new build?

Actually, unless you archived the backup on 11.2.1 (and restore from that), it is quite likely your phone has overwritten the 11.2.1 backup, meaning you may have nothing. Not saying you didn’t do the archive, but a lot of people miss that.

I have iPhone 7 (MNCK2J/A). Keyboard clicks and lock sound were only loud in the first or second hour. After a while, it just went back to normal volume. I didn't restart the phone.

UPDATE: It's loud again :D I also noticed that keyboard clicks don't work when typing on Instagram.
UPDATE 2: Keyboard clicks work while typing a comment on Instagram, but I'm not sure if the volume is just enough or if it's low. Keyboard clicks do not work while typing a caption for posts on Instagram.

Other than the louder keyboard sounds the only thing I can see that's changed is more aggressive CPU throttling - if that's even possible given all the blowback Apple has been receiving. On an iPhone 6 with a 14% degraded battery (according to the BatteryLife app) I can now can get no more than 839 mHz out of possible 1400 max on CPUDasherX. On beta 2 I would get up to 1127.

When deleting an Apple Music playlist does it free up space(look @ downloaded music tab in the Music setting before & after)? Currently on 11.2.1 when deleting a Music playlist it remains in storage unless I click ‘remove download’ & then delete.

You should clear all apps in the app switcher and press power until you see "Slide to power off" then press home until it disappear. Re-launch app after. It should launch as normal without delay

Hi, thanks for your help, but it doesn’t work for me. Delay is still alive....after doing like you said, directly after switching home button and being back in the homescreen, delay by moving from first to second homescreen is still alive.... also start8ng apps...
