I just noticed that the loud keyboard clicks and lock sounds are reduced when you connect to Airplay devices to stream music. Once disconnected, they are loud again. I tested this on iPhone X and iPad 9.7 Pro.

It’s seems to be a myriad of issues. Someone posted that video playback controls also effect sound volume (which many of us can confirm).

I've found that my BT headphones disconnect while paused (for 10 min or more usually) often, the headphone play button doesn't resume playback. Also, I dunno if it's app specific, but I've been listening to visual VM and the phone has gone into lock and stopped playback

I was inclined to say that this is the worst beta ever but then i remembered the one that bricked phones. So its the second worst. :)

Beginning yesterday, I’ve had severe lag throughout iOS on my iPhone 7.

Haven’t made any changes to configuration or installed any new apps.

A hard restart resolves the issue for a period of time and then it returns.

Anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Getting really irritated with this beta. Have had my phone on and off the charger pretty much all day and I can't get it to go above 75%. Kinda wondering if it's just a glitch in the battery indicator as it doesn't make sense that the phone would just stop taking a charge while being plugged in.

If I were to decide to go back to 11.2.1, would it just require a shift+update with the IPSW file?

Was on public beta but to many bugs, bugs that I never had in my life since joining beta program. I downloaded 11.2.1 and installed from New and back to normal (perfect) Everything is working 100%

Yeah that would work but you could also go back to 11.2.5 beta 2. It seemed to be more solid than the current beta. If you did the shift/update to go back to 11.2.1, I would recommend a reset all settings afterwards if any issues arise. Be sure to delete the profile 1st if going back to 11.2.1 otherwise it will download the beta again as soon as its finished.

Can someone explain how to go back to iOS 11.2.5 beta 2?

Download the IPSW, launch iTunes, connect the device, while holding shift on PC or holding option key on Mac and clicking "Check for Updates", it will bring up a window to select the downloaded IPSW to update.

With installed beta profile?

Anyone else seeing 2 volume rockers when changing volume with volume +/- buttons? (Top left corner)

Haven’t seen before this beta..

So far, so good on my 6s. Just as good as beta 2.

Hope I don’t jinx myself. Some of these bugs you guys have are just straight up bizarre.

Download the beta 3 IPSW and restore using iTunes. For me it was just a bad install. The latest beta works perfectly fine after a restore.

Didn’t work for me. About to try a reset all settings.

I erased all content and settings and my Pro is back to normal. Just a heads up. I’m too impatient to wait for a fix.
Did you try reset all settings first? I really don’t want to erase all content if I don’t have to.

First full day with the beta. Widget screen still jerky for me if I try to scroll down as soon as I swipe to that page but if I wait a bit then it works like normal. IP7.

I should add, I took the phone off the charger around 10:20 this morning and have had it on all day today, it’s now 8:25PM. Hate to jinx it, but this looks like a big improvement for me. 82% now with hour and a half usage (during the day I left it on airplane mode while working) and 10 hours standby.

I’ve had my 8 Plus randomly completely freeze. Seems to happen most often with music/video related apps. It’s like the phone is using a Pentium 1. Goes away after a few seconds/minutes.

Had that on my iPad Pro 10.5, had to go back to 11.2.1, 11.2.5 slowed everything down.

Same here on my iPad Air 2. Was running flawlessly on 11.2 regular build. Installed public beta 11.2.5 beta 3, and everything lags 10+ seconds. Clicking an app to open, trying to load a webpage, getting the keyboard to even pop up on text input screens. It’s really bad...

I have the same problem.

I just rolled back to a Beta 2 using the above mention Shift-Update IPSW method, and things are running normal speed again. Wondering if Apple decided to put the same “slow down the processors code” into 11.2.5 Beta 3 for iPads it’s been putting into iPhones. Cause the lag was horrendous and painful.
