I never thought to check there. I have automatic timezone set already. I did however uncheck and recheck all applicable options though.

My watch and phone now read the same temperature, however the watch says I'm in one place and the phone another (even if they're technically the same place).

My weather widget thinks I’m still 40 mikes away in London. All the above checked.

I have an iPhone 6S for work on iOS 10.3.3 and widget works flawlessly.

May be a coincidence, but I noticed better Face ID unlocking angles today. Stuff that didn’t used to work at all now works a lot more often.

.”

I noticed the same thing. It seems to unlock better at “steeper” angles.

11.2 resolve iPhone 5s and 6 issues? or apple just focus on iPhone 7, 8, X?

Is this the bug where the first email notification suddenly vanishes when the phone is unlocked? That’s still happening.

Not sure about any other notification bugs.
What I mean is bug that only show notifications in Notification Center but not show as banner when you use your phone.

What happened to giving it a few days and a few charging cycles after an update to actually get a somewhat meaningful idea of battery life?
I don’t think that’s going to help. It’s the exact same battery life as Beta 2. Seems worse than Beta 2 actually. It can’t even reach 6 hours without dipping into the twenties.

This phone was lasting 1.5 days on iOS 10. 1.5 days! It barely reaches half a day on iOS 11. I haven’t played a single game nor have I even played any video otherwise I am sure it’s going to die on me in 4-5 hours. To say Apple has wrecked my battery life would be an understatement. This is not the battery life I would expect from a 1k phone.

This is the battery life of the 8 Plus whose battery is smaller than my 7 Plus. Look how rubbish my battery life is in comparison. This was how my 7 Plus was on iOS 10. Will it ever get this good?

I can’t find a single thing I like about iOS 11 other than a new look. Home button delays and everything taken together I hate it.

Unless that is your phone any comparison is null and void. Sorry your phone has a home button delay. Because mine doesn’t.

I could put my phone on the lowest brightness and turn on lo power mode and it still won’t come close to that battery life. In fact there is nothing I can do with my phone which will result in that battery life.

And my phone had that battery life on iOS 10 by the way.

My phones have about the same battery life on iOS 11. No real change.

But mine don’t. This is abysmal battery life. It’s also not my battery health. It’s 97% in Coconut Battery and the 8 Plus has a smaller battery to begin with.

Has anybody else noticed a terrible stutter in the app closing animation sometimes? Doesn't happen too much, but when it does the animation is terrible. Also noticed this on beta 2.

I’m sure this message (below the WiFi toggle) is new.

Is Apple seriously going to release the line for control centre?:eek::rolleyes:
Maybe they’ve been getting feedback that new iPhone X customers are struggling to access Control Center. There would be no other explanation as to why they would implement such a UI change.

Did you already attempt wiping the phone and a fresh installation of iOS? If that doesn’t help, then it sounds like you should take it to Apple Store and request battery service.

A bunch of apps were just updated but there were no blue dots next to the app icons indicating that they were recently updated. Weird.

Already did a clean wipe and install about 5 times. It stays the exact same 7 hours of battery life.

I highly doubt it’s the battery as Coconut Battery reports excellent battery health but I think I will have to take a trip down to the Apple Store and see if anything comes out of it. If it doesn’t, my X is coming next month and I may keep that and sell off my 7 Plus before I put in a 100 bucks next year for battery wear as I charge it twice a day. Because as it stands I am not enjoying my phone. With Pixel 2 XL and iPhone 8 Plus getting 2 day Battery I am not going to tolerate such low battery.

My iPhone 6s Plus receives terrible battery life as well. But, I have used this device for two years. So I am not that angry to “abysmal” battery life. Surprisingly, with heavy game, novel reading and video watching (30% of total on screen time), I sometimes can get 6 hours of battery life.

But mine is just a year old. After 2 years I can understand battery wear. But this is just 1 year old and battery is just fine. Apple says the battery life of 8 Plus is similar to 7 Plus and I need to charge my phone twice to achieve that.

This is something to do with the OS. Apple has just not optimised iOS 11 for it. If you will watch the video by iDeviceHelp he did a comparison between iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus and the 7 Plus despite having the largest battery amongst the 3 lost by a siginificamt margin.

does anyone have noticed a cooler tint in the True Tone calibration? In the X model it's pretty yelloish, there are many conmplaints about that.
