Are you keeping your 7 Plus on LTE or WiFi the whole day?
My 7 Plus, SE, and now X are on LTE for the majority of the day, with WiFi & Bluetooth on, all day.

I have already done my own testing through a suite of apps. I tried to take very good care of my battery this year. I thought maybe part of the reason my iPhone 6 battery depreciated so badly was because I was using the iPad charger and I stopped using it for my 7 Plus. I took extreme care of itl. iOS 11 has thrown it all out of the windows though
Trip to the Apple Store is about all you can do at this point.

Twice in the last week my 6s+ has failed to notice that I have driven home. Currently beta 3 tells me that my car is 7.1 miles away in a supermarket car park I drove out of 4 hours ago.
Are you sure it hasn’t been stolen?![]()
If a pace of 10+ hours of usage is unbearable, I wish my battery life was unbearable too.Scratch my earlier post. Battery life hasn’t improved at all. It took a long time to come from 100-80% but it’s dropping percentages faster below 80. The battery life is unbearable for me

That's 10 hours of standby. Its only 7 hours of use. And my point is it should at least be comparable with 8 Plus which it isnt. The 8 Plus has astonishing battery life. I have seen phones with 52% battery left after 8 hours of use and 20 hours standby. The 8 Plus battery life is equivalent to me charging my phone twiceIf a pace of 10+ hours of usage is unbearable, I wish my battery life was unbearable too.
And I bet there are 8 Plus phones that don't come close to some of those individual anecdotal cases. Just like there are 7 Plus phones that get better battery than yours. That's 10 hours of standby. I don’t think that’s going to help. It’s the exact same battery life as Beta 2. Seems worse than Beta 2 actually. It can’t even reach 6 hours without dipping into the twenties.
This phone was lasting 1.5 days on iOS 10. 1.5 days! It barely reaches half a day on iOS 11. I haven’t played a single game nor have I even played any video otherwise I am sure it’s going to die on me in 4-5 hours. To say Apple has wrecked my battery life would be an understatement. This is not the battery life I would expect from a 1k phone.
This is the battery life of the 8 Plus whose battery is smaller than my 7 Plus. Look how rubbish my battery life is in comparison. This was how my 7 Plus was on iOS 10. Will it ever get this good?
I can’t find a single thing I like about iOS 11 other than a new look. Home button delays and everything taken together I hate it.
Radon I didn't realize you had upgraded to an 1k iPhone X? So that makes for a very confusing post since iOS 10 predates the iPhone X by a year. Or perhaps you paid too much for an iPhone in the first place. Having just purchased an iPhone 8 and with an iPhone X arriving Friday, I can attest that my first "1k" iPhone will be the X. All that being said, you continue with your constant displeasure of all things Apple. You go so far as to say that Apple "wrecked my battery life". I'll ask once again, what on earth are you still doing using an iPhone? Surely an Android device would be much more to your liking. A Samsung Galaxy (haven't you seen those convincing TV ads?) or a Google Pixel XL 2 (not withstanding the inferior screen according to most reviews) would be uplifting experiences for you. You must live very unhappily with that iPhone in your hands. Do yourself a favor and get that Android asap.
For the record, I am running iOS 11.2 beta 3 on an iPhone 6 (16 GB), iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 (and soon on a iPhone X) with excellent results. No issues with the so called Home Button delay, battery drain, etc. Very happy with iOS 11.

Cancel that order for the X! You will not be happy! I can see your posts on these forums complaining about battery drain, home button delay....oh wait there is no home button on the X! You'll have to engineer something else to complain about. Do yourself a favor and cancel the X and run down the street and pickup a Pixel 2 XL today. No waiting whatsoever. You'll be much happier. Of course some us may miss your incessant whining here on the macrumors forums.I think I will do that this week. I have tried everything from my end right down to a clean install with no apps. It refuses to budge outside the7-8 hours usage range. If they say its fine, there is still the X to look forward to.
Apple says the iPhone 8 Plus lasts about the same as the 7 Plus on their websiteHave you considered that the 8+ might(probably) have better power management chips than the 7+?

And the iPhone 8 series has smaller batteries than the iPhone 7 series. Per The Verge: The iPhone 8 will have a 1,821mAh battery, compared to the 1,960mAh battery in the iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 Plus will have a 2,675mAh battery, compared to the iPhone 7 Plus' 2,900mAh battery.Apple says the iPhone 8 Plus lasts about the same as the 7 Plus on their website
Are the "Springboard bug" disappeared from Cellular Data list in Beta 3?
