Thanks. Did you just do an erase all contents in iOS? Tried that and no go. Going to try through iTunes.
Yes, Erase All Content & Settings through Settings on iOS. Set up as new, made sure the issue was resolved, it was. Then did another Erase All Content & Settings and restored from the iCloud backup I had made on beta 2. Issue did not come back and all is normal on beta 4 so far.

The app itself hangs.

Thanks. Funny thing is, didn’t have it on beta 3.
On B3, I had the issue with the phone app hanging. It would sometimes crash but other times just take a really long time to open. I found that when this happens that my visual voicemail is not working too. If I go to the voicemail button, instead of my visual voicemail, there is a "Call Voicemail" button instead. If I tapped the button it would call and let me hear my voicemails just fine. After some research and trial and error, I found that if I toggle Airplane Mode a few times the visual voicemail comes back the way it should and then the phone app is back to normal.

I'm installing B4 now so I don't know if it fixes this or not.

Thank buddy. Will try that.

Just updated, phone app and VVM all working great here. Bummer it was introduced for you in this beta.

Phone app is unusable. Once it opens, it will hang for 10-20 seconds when tapping on any tab, sometimes it will completely crash, visual VM broken during this time. Restore was required for me in beta 3 to rid of the issue.

So that was disabled, yet you just had to click twice to get into your phone...without entering your passcode?

Now when I disable that option it asks for the passcode. When I installed the beta the option was disabled and it was letting me enter the phone without asking for the passcode

Is it me or have the iOS 11 betas been a lot more painful than iOS 10 betas were?

It feels like they're digging a lot deeper into the code with these betas than they did with 10. Most issues with 10 betas were cosmetic and quickly fixed.

What the hell did they do to TouchID? It was bypassing the lockscreen and going to directly to home on Beta 3. Now I have to click the home button once to turn on the display and again to bypass the lockscreen just like the FaceID swipe on the X. They really are gimping every aspect of the home button.
I see no difference from beta 3, I can turn on the phone with the home button and it goes straight to lock screen.

Yeah I fixed it. For some reason the unlock phone with TouchID option disabled itself and it was letting me enter the phone without entering the passcode on clicking the home button twice. Reported the bug.

This beta actually fix my Apple Maps issue with cursor going the opposite direction, rerouting, and multiple sound notification when rerouting.

Yup thats weird. Touch ID in IOS 11 so far is still inconsistent. Sometimes it goes past the lock screen and sometimes it asks me to put my finger down again.

Not sure whats up with that.

Interesting mines work flawlessly except for the time when Touch ID has dirt or smudges on it or wet/sweaty thumb.

I added double of the same fingerprint for fluidity maybe that helps

Is ANYONE having issues with these betas and screenshots? Sometimes taking a screenshot doesn’t flash or show the thumbnail, sometimes when I crop or mark up a thumbnail the changes don’t actually save when I save it to the photos app. Restart temporarily fixes the problem. I’ve been having these issues since iOS 11.1 betas and continue even after reset all settings continue to have this problem. I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.
