Yes, Erase All Content & Settings through Settings on iOS. Set up as new, made sure the issue was resolved, it was. Then did another Erase All Content & Settings and restored from the iCloud backup I had made on beta 2. Issue did not come back and all is normal on beta 4 so far.Thanks. Did you just do an erase all contents in iOS? Tried that and no go. Going to try through iTunes.
On B3, I had the issue with the phone app hanging. It would sometimes crash but other times just take a really long time to open. I found that when this happens that my visual voicemail is not working too. If I go to the voicemail button, instead of my visual voicemail, there is a "Call Voicemail" button instead. If I tapped the button it would call and let me hear my voicemails just fine. After some research and trial and error, I found that if I toggle Airplane Mode a few times the visual voicemail comes back the way it should and then the phone app is back to normal. The app itself hangs.

Thanks. Funny thing is, didn’t have it on beta 3.
Thank buddy. Will try that.Yes, Erase All Content & Settings through Settings on iOS. Set up as new, made sure the issue was resolved, it was. Some folks had success just toggling airplane mode for about 30 seconds, then back off. Hoping this doesn't become even more widespread before Thanksgiving break.Having the same issue with the phone app here.
Just updated, phone app and VVM all working great here. Bummer it was introduced for you in this beta.
Phone app is unusable. Once it opens, it will hang for 10-20 seconds when tapping on any tab, sometimes it will completely crash, visual VM broken during this time. Restore was required for me in beta 3 to rid of the issue.

So that was disabled, yet you just had to click twice to get into your phone...without entering your passcode?
Yikes, weird bug. I'd definitely report that. Now when I disable that option it asks for the passcode. When I installed the beta the option was disabled and it was letting me enter the phone without asking for the passcode
Thank you!! Toggling airplane mode fixed it for me!Some folks had success just toggling airplane mode for about 30 seconds, then back off. Hoping this doesn't become even more widespread before Thanksgiving break.

Screwed until the following Monday unfortunately. This is why Apple shouldn't release betas on a Friday. If something happens, you're screwed until Monday. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I'm sticking with beta 3 for now.
I see no difference from beta 3, I can turn on the phone with the home button and it goes straight to lock screen. What the hell did they do to TouchID? It was bypassing the lockscreen and going to directly to home on Beta 3. Now I have to click the home button once to turn on the display and again to bypass the lockscreen just like the FaceID swipe on the X. They really are gimping every aspect of the home button.

Found the issue. In TouchID settings the option to use TouchID for phone unlock had disabled itself. Turned it on and it’s back to normal. Phew.
Yeah I fixed it. For some reason the unlock phone with TouchID option disabled itself and it was letting me enter the phone without entering the passcode on clicking the home button twice. Yup thats weird. Touch ID in IOS 11 so far is still inconsistent. Sometimes it goes past the lock screen and sometimes it asks me to put my finger down again.Yeah I fixed it.
