On iPhone X. Currently at 6% with 6 hours 38 minutes of usage and 10 hours and 3 minutes of standby. Heavy usage all day. Very impressed with this beta!

My 6S will easily average 1 hour of web browsing for every 10% of battery.

Maybe this is an outlier, but the battery life is amazing in my iPhone 7 Plus. Truth be told, I’ve stayed at home the whole day, with good WiFi. But it’s impressive nonetheless.

10:11 min usage and 14:44 standby @ 19% remaining battery. (The image didn’t upload for whatever reason.) Oh, and no Low-Power Mode.

It's the same for me over wifi, but cellular will drain my battery to no end over LTE. Even on a strong 3-4 bar connection, the battery will drop 30-40% with an hour of usage over LTE.

Also the lockscreen disappearing bug has made a comeback.. I was getting used to it not happening in beta 3 too :(

I updated to beta 4 on my iPad, iPhone, and two Apple TVs, but since then I’ve lost the airplay controller in Control Center. When I long press on the Music widget, the control widgets from my two Apple TVs aren’t there anymore. Photo attached. They were there and working fine on the last beta. I’ve tried restarting everything but no luck. Has this happened to anyone else?

I used to have only 6:30 hours of usage even on WiFi. So for me that was an improvement, but let’s see when I’m using cellular on Monday.... ☺️

Have they fixed genral jankiness on the 12.9 IPad Pro’s mine stutters all over meanwhile the 10.5 I played with at work is perfect butter. Does the 2017 iPad Pro 12.9 still struggle to push 5.5 million pixels? The 10.5 is such a noticeable amount smoother and fluid feeling that I’m tempted to switch over.

Anyone keep losing their sms notification sound? A hard reset sometimes works, but not for long. 8+

it happens for me in beta 4 but was also present in beta 3. The solution is to change sms sound and then change it back.

Another problem related to this is that sometimes the sms, mail and ringtone sounds sets itself to default sound.

A few times I even experienced that several custom installed sounds dissapeared from my iPhone when syncing with iTunes. It seems that iTunes sometimes deletes custom sound files that has been installed manually instead of bought using the iTunes app in iPhone or iPad (it all started with the new version of iTunes a few weeks ago).

The SMS alerts have been wonky ever since I got an Watch ... some 2-3 years ago. It's very much "hit or miss". I have basically resigned myself to the fact that it may be intentional and related to the settings that I have chosen for my watch/phone combo. My watch almost always alerts me... and at times, so does the phone... other times, the phone is completely silent.

It truly is a mystery, I guess.

Unfortunately latest 11.2 beta on my 10.5 iPad Pro is mostly the same as 11.1.x in terms of fluidity, notably in the app switcher. And I wouldn't call it perfect butter. Definitely not 120fps but maybe still around 60fps. I reported this bug a while ago and it's marked as duplicate and the original one is still open. At this stage it's probably already too late for 11.2 final.

Hmmm interesting I wonder if I may just have a less then optimal install of iOS. I’m dying for 11.2 to release because I’m going to restore all my devices and have my 3rd “refresh since iOS 11 released. Just the joys of iOS 11. Apple please take notes and don’t make the same quantity of mistakes in iOS 12, I’m begging you.
