Haha, according to my phone 48% of the usage was through safari.
Literally me on my iPad, I always have phenomenal battery life with like 60% usage Safari throughout a typical day.

Battery life jumps from 71% to 68% suddenly and drains quickly. My 7 Plus will never be the same as iOS 10 by the loooks for it.
Recalibrate the battery

I already recalibrated it. Doesn’t make a difference.
Hmm haven’t recalibrated my iPhone 7 in months and I’ve seen no issues with inaccurate battery level, then again I just check the percent widget not the actual percent as I find the battery percent to be inaccurate in general

This is weird...

All of a sudden I'm getting updates in the App Store for very old apps... but the apps haven't really been updated.

Example: a clock app says it has an update (in App Store); update description says changes include "support for new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus screen sizes", "optimized for iOS 9", etc. I update all anyway, then check that app's page - hasn't been updated for a year.

Wonder why I'm getting these app update notifications lately... I've gotten ~ 8 since installing 11.2b4.

This is why Apple shouldn't release betas on a Friday. If something happens, you're screwed until Monday. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I'm sticking with beta 3 for now.
Or in the case of this beta release, not until after the Thanksgiving break!

Yup thats weird. Touch ID in IOS 11 so far is still inconsistent. Sometimes it goes past the lock screen and sometimes it asks me to put my finger down again.

Not sure whats up with that.

I've had similar issues on my Iphone 6 also, throughout the 11 betas.

Do you guys think there is another beta on monday?

No, Apple is closed until after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Count me in as well.

I just did a manual check for app updates, most were legit and a couple were beyond old (one was from January 2016). When I updated all, the old ones didn’t download at all, they just switched to “open” in the App Store update page. Very bizarre.

This beta sounds like a mess with the phone app freezing and this update issue and. I can totally see this beta lasting another 3 updates before release especially with HomePod being delayed

Beta 4 on the X now unlocks with one eye shut for when you wake up

Which eye - left or right? I heard it's supposed to work with the right eye open for right handed people and left eye open for left handed people.

The things people do/ test when it's Apple.

11.2 betas definitely have a problem displaying some notifications or app badge counts properly. I got missing badge counts and all sorts. Rather pish indeed.

Can you guys try taking a HDR Portrait mode? It’s broken in 11.2, HDR refuses to activate even with auto-HDR on.

Have you had Apple take a look at your battery? My 7 Plus was lasting quite a long time under iOS 11 when I sold it two weeks ago, and I had owned it since release. I could easily get through a day and still have 30% left five or take.

Of course use cases are different, right? You might be using messages, safari. Etc more than I was.

Same here but on official 11.1.2 firmware. Must be an App Store issue.

I did. Nothing was wrong with it.

Is there a solution for the visual VM being gone and the occasional phone app freezing?
Other than force quitting the app which resolved the frozen app for me I don’t think there’s anything else. After the first freeze I saw the voice mail issue, did not have it before. The Airplane toggle worked for that, but saw something similar again. That time the force quit worked to resolve it.

I had one issue on my iPad Pro that came with the release of iOS 11 fixed in this seed but several other bugs were introduced.
