As I said earlier only the X and 8 Plus get good battery life on iOS 11.

I have been very happy with battery life on iOS 11 on my iPhone 7 from day 1, and now in 11.2 beta 4 iteration, the software is noticeably more fluid and enjoyable, and battery life is better than on 11.0 and 11.1 in my experience.

I dunno, I think I’d rather let you sit and wonder if I’m telling the truth or not.

Then why quote me if not bothering to post a screenshot. When I did the same I was called out for it.

I just charged mine at 2PM. Charged it yesterday night and have been using it since 6AM in the morning. Runs out at 2 PM. I have not played a single game or watched videos. I am not at all happy with this.

This is the Plus variant. If I had the smaller phone, it likely would last around 6 hours.

Does anyone else have issues with Animoji on this beta? When I try to start recording, it freezes and won't record. Have to force quit the messages app 2-3 times usually before it will finally work.

Also, Snapchat is real buggy, whenever I try to take a video, it freezes and becomes unresponsive, entire phone doesn't react, only way to fix it for me is to lock the phone, then unlock, and then I can use the screen again to close the app.

Just my observations from my issues so far with this beta

I have a problem with the iPhone 8. I have a Cheotech wireless charging stand and it charges my iPhone X on 11.1.1 just fine. My iPhone 8 is on 11.2 beta 4 and won't charge at all on this stand. I have another iPhone 8 on iOS 11.1 that charges fine on the same stand.

The obvious suspect is fast wireless charging making my stand inoperable, but why wouldn't it still charge the slower rate?

Anybody know whats up?

Just noticed that when I take pics the photos are not showing up in the photos app, only in the camera app. Anyone know a fix. 8+.

Update: no worries, have sorted it now.

This is certainly going to make anyone annoyed. Is it possible there are apps that are draining the battery in some way? Also, is sharing crash data with App Developers enabled? I fancy that might be one of the reasons to keep the phone working in the background ...

Not sure where else to put this: myself and a few others running iOS 11 are experiencing a strange bug whereby the iPhone will turn volume all the way down to mute randomly, usually while playing media. Anyone else seeing this? Bug is still present in 11.1.2.

I’m seeing the exact opposite, random volume increases!

I have an Iphone 6 which my son gave me when he bought the 8, the day it was released. I erased it, set it up as new with 11.01, then restored my 5c backup.
After a couple of days I installed the first beta of 11.1 which seemed to have poor battery life.
I tested the wear level in Battery Life and it showed 86%. A few days later I took it to an Apple authorized service center and they used Apple's app and tested it at 87%. They stated that Apple usually does not want them to replace the battery unless it is below 80% wear level.

Battery life increased considerably in later betas until this 11.2 beta 4 release. Suddenly, wear level was showing at 80% in Battery Life where it was a fairly consistent 86-90% throughout the previous betas. With 11.2 beta 4 I noticed the battery was not lasting as long and I run it most of the time in low power mode. Furthermore, charging on my 1A Apple charger seems to take longer to reach 100%. About 3 weeks ago I ran it down to try to recalibrate it.

Is anybody seeing anything similar?

How do I disable sharing crash data with developpers?

Not sure why some are having battery life issues on this beta. The battery on my 6s has been phenomenal, especially since 11.0.

Whew! On my 8 plus and 2017 12” iPad Pro this has been the worst since 11 debuted, and it was a turkey from the get go. This one is bigger turkey ready for basting. Battery life has been fine but numerous issues, apps crashing, freezing, frequent lags when launching apps and switching screens. I’ve had all the reported phone app problems in this seed while I had none previously. 11.1 in contrast was buttery smooth on both my devices.

However this version did fix one issue in Mail that I was having but at the cost of many new issues. Once I can get a stable version on these devices I’ll be off the beta trains for good.

Anyone else noticing issued with Raise to Wake on the iPhone X in this beta? The screen will sometimes take too long to light up or not turn on at all until I tap it
