Did anyone notice how much faster the updates began installation? Before on both my iPad Pro (10.5), and my iPhone X that sat at preparing for a while. On both devices the update was ready to install almost immediately.

Is that because it's an entire 2.x gb install and not an incremental update?

I imagine this is probably the case. Normally, it’s got to swap out bits and pieces. Now it’s just a wholesale replacement.

News app still crashes after watching a video embedded in a story, then tapping the back button to return to the news stream. Crashes every time. Hopefully the weather widget will start updating before 9:00 a.m. again.

Bootup has been sped up on my 7 from about 24 seconds to 20.
Remaining bug- Lockscreen music player still shows "iPhone" when playing music through bluetooth.

No issues on my X here. It seems to have fixed it for me. I was having this issue on beta 5 still

11.2 beta 6 on iPhone 7 and stutter fest for me. Also the same bugs previously documented in prior betas so no need to rehash.

Hey guys so Im on 11.2 beta 6. If I delete the beta profile when the official 11.2 comes out, will that let me switch over to the official version? my phone has been so buggy, I dont really want to mess with beta anymore.

Yes, it will.

If you don't want any more betas and just want to wait for 11.2 release version you can go ahead and delete the profile now if you like.

Thanks for confirmation. my thinking is that the betas will only get better at this point so I'll stay in the program until public release of 11.2

I just updated my iPhone X to this public beta and its showing me the feedback app. Anyone else still showing feedback app?
