Yup, I still have it.
Hey guys so Im on 11.2 beta 6. If I delete the beta profile when the official 11.2 comes out, will that let me switch over to the official version? my phone has been so buggy, I dont really want to mess with beta anymore.
As this appears to be the final, deleting the profile will not result in the “official” version showing up once its released to the public, as it is most likely the same exact software. However, it will prevent future beta releases from showing up and get rid of the feedback app.Yes, it will.
If you don't want any more betas and just want to wait for 11.2 release version you can go ahead and delete the profile now if you like.
Same here. Locksceen Music widget still shows “iPhone” or “iPad” instead of the Bluetooth or Airplay speaker I’m connected to. This bug had been solved in beta 1 but came back again on every beta since.Bootup has been sped up on my 7 from about 24 seconds to 20.
Remaining bug- Lockscreen music player still shows "iPhone" when playing music through bluetooth.
And go Android? If you are happy with Android, you can spend far less on the best Android devices and be a happy user for once. It's really a win win.

Does this update fix the side-button delay on the iPhone X?![]()

By the looks of it beta 6 is a GM. And will likely be the release version to the public. Guessing Monday or 11th of December at the latest. Maybe the 4th.
Hey Chrissuth,
What is it about beta 6 that make you believe it might be GM?
Thanks
Dan

That there is no letter at the end of the build number. And people seem to be getting the full installer rather then a delta update. I maybe wrong as I’m not running the beta on my X. But all signs look like it’s the GMHey Chrissuth,

As do I.
Release candidate is a possible version. Gm can still be used to indicate a . Update too. Release candidate is different to a candidate. Meaning it’s possibke it is eligible for publicPoint of order/nit picking/semantics, but...
The term Gold Master (GM) is only used for x.0 releases. There was a GM release for iOS 11.0. There is NO GM release for 11.1, 11.1.1, 11.2, etc... the correct term is "Release Candidate" (RC)....
It's a distinction without much difference.
Did anyone notice how much faster the updates began installation? Before on both my iPad Pro (10.5), and my iPhone X that sat at preparing for a while. On both devices the update was ready to install almost immediately.
Is that because it's an entire 2.x gb install and not an incremental update?
Been using BeWeather for years. Light years ahead of the stock weather app. Both the iPhone widget and watch complications are immensely configurable.
Could you give me a quick comparison between Be and Carrot? I remember Be from my Blackberry Bold 9700 days.. Fond memories of the umbrella.
I just updated my iPhone X to this public beta and its showing me the feedback app. Anyone else still showing feedback app?
Probably because you have the public beta profile installed
