I’d say that Dom C is the best judge of how well his device is working.Maybe you dont care enough if you have little lag. Its not the same . Tested on 7,6s,5se. Little lag is always present.

Force restart your phone and the weather widget will workWeather widget STILL displays the wrong temp......like the calculator bug how the hell does this garbage get past testing?
Its not about the speed. Its about smoothness. Two different things.“Little lag” typically happens on devices over two years old. Not quite sure what caring enough about it has anything to do with it. I’m not expecting my 6s to match the speeds of an 8 or a X.
Had the same issue and solved it by resetting as new and deleting all content on my X. Now the widget works. Neither hard reset, force restart nor reboot worked.Weather widget STILL displays the wrong temp......like the calculator bug how the hell does this garbage get past testing?
Careful. This question should come with a trigger warning.Same thing Im wondering.
My iPhone 7 Plus runs great on 10.3.3, I wonder if I should go for 11.2?
Is battery ok and runs smooth without bugs or other issues?

Dont update unless you like the new features. Your phone (will) MAY be laggy for sure ( older phones like 7, 6s, 5se ). It will never be as smooth as 10.3.3
I dont know why 7 is laggy. 6s was released with 9 and 10 is perfect. Iphone 7 was released with 10 and should be perfect with 11. Ios 11 is crap.
Again, there are many factors. Sure, your phone might lag, or, as in my case, it might not. I have a 7+ and my wife has a 6S+, both running iOS 11.2... and neither of us are experiencing lag or stuttering. But, as is often said, YMMV... my experience with iOS 11.x, especially 11.2 is quite good.
Bummer. $1000 phones really should work.Well after 3 calls apple wants me to bring my IPHONE x in to replace cause of frozen keyboard(this took 5 min)thanks 11.2
[doublepost=1512351698][/doublepost]Super frustrating cause I can’t believe it’s a hardware issue after using phone fine for the last month, after hard reset it works finw for about 5-10 min then forgwt it ,the last poat seriously took me over 5 min to type out, ridiculous ,restore ,set up ad new phone ,doeant matter ,and my wifes 8 updated to 11.2 fine,so i dont know what to think
That’s not an answer. The point is for stuff to work with having to restart all the time. I guess these devices really are becoming like computers of the past.Force restart your phone and the weather widget will work
Really? We have to go through all that for a damn widget to work?!Had the same issue and solved it by resetting as new and deleting all content on my X. Now the widget works. Neither hard reset, force restart nor reboot worked.

Why no watchOS 4.2?

I agree. 11.2 seems much better than previous 11 version, but its not stabler like 10.3.3I disagree, at least on my 6s. iOS 11.2 running about the same for me as 10.3.3.
In no way am I defending Apple for how bad 11.0 was, however I will give them credit for fixing the major issues that made me want to throw my iPhone into a cement mixer.
Better late than never.
