Updated and now I have the dreaded red exclamation mark in my iPad Pro settings telling me that I have to sign up for Apple Pay. Anyway to get rid of this since I don't want to sign up. Thanks for the help.
Go into it and select that you don't want to set it up and it should disappear (at least it has on a couple of devices that I've recently updated).

On 11.2 there is some stutter here an there for my X , some second long delay on various things ... Therefore, I’d say that the general system performance is quite worse than on 11.1 for me...
‘Nice’ job, Apple... again...
iOS 11.2 is flawless on my iPhone X. Great job Apple.... again... ;)

Tests for iOS 11.2 vs iOS 10.3.3 are in. This certainly doesn't show 5s to be faster on iOS 11 than iOS 10. iOS 10 is quite a bit faster. In particular iOS 11 gets demolished in the bootup test

[doublepost=1512382979][/doublepost]Conclusion from the tester.

So no surprise here. Although iOS 11.2 boots faster it has not caught up to the boot speed of iOS 10.3.3. All benchmark tests are in favour of iOS 10.3.3. So if speed is important to you, do not upgrade. But it is a tough call for sure. If you are on 5s or 6 you should think twice before upgrading.
My iPhone 6 (a lowly 16 GB) is running iOS 11.2 just fine thank you very much.

For me, iOS 11.2 is a great update especially on my 6s+. It fix bugs I had since the first beta of iOS 11 back in june and its really, really smooth.

The only issue is still the battery. Still not good since iOS 11.

Why?

Edit: This happens every day, only restart repairs it. Reinstalling iOS didn’t help. Hoped they fix it with iOS 11.2...

Not sure if this has been mentioned but for at least the last 2 updates, videos in safari will only play in full screen on iPhone. For a while now you used to be able to play the videos in the page without going to full screen

Come on now, say the magic words - you are happy with iOS 11 (11.2) at last.
Sad to say but it indeed was some bug with the usage time. I let the battery drain completely and hard reset the phone and it’s back to its usual self. :(

It wasn't until I read your reply to that post that I went back and re-read it only to realize that my original quick reading of it gave me an impression that finally some improvement was felt on the part of some who were experiencing some deeper battery issues, but in reality it was all just spun deeper into silliness of yet another conspiracy. I mean I tend to stay away from memes, but it seems like a  would probably not even do it all justice here.
I was wrong. It was bug. I confirmed it. The phone was lasting the same amount of time as earlier but the usage time was 10 hours. I hadn't let the battery fully drain since the update. Now that I did it it's back to the iOS 11 normal.

Looks like Apple is not for you..
I will just live with the issue because the only phone on Android which I wanted was the Pixel and that's suffering from display problems. Of course there still the iPhone X next week. I will report my feedback on the battery of the X here soon.

Just found Apple has responded to my feedback and asked me to attach another sysdiagnose if the issue continues. I will do so after 2-3 full charge cycles are up and the issue continues.

GOING TO APPLE STORE now to get their take on this ,not just the keyboard but the whole screen freezes

Apple store showed issues with my display after doing a display diagnostic, replaced my display, still freezing ,so yes I Expect it’s all software ,since all the employee devices iOS were displaying similar issues as mine ,fix coming fast I expect

I’ve noticed that the vibration when receiving a text message is different on iOS 11.2 than previous versions. The second vibration seems delayed when compared to how it used to be. Not sure if this is a bug or was done on purpose.

You can check what it is in settings (to see if it's the same as when you actually receive a notification) and even change it.

Not causing trouble, but I noticed that since updating when I restart my phone, after I punch in the code, for a couple seconds my battery percentage reads 1% before resetting to 100% or whatever it's at. I did it a couple times and it did this every time.

Also, I signed out of iCloud and signed back in but no Apple Pay Cash.

I have seen the same behaviour also on 6S Plus.

I might have overlooked this here or some other 11.2 threads if it was mentioned, but has anyone been experiencing any issues in relation to tapping and opening links in Safari? Occasionally I would tap on a link and even though visually there's a response showing that I tapped on it nothing actually happens. Sometimes it's like that for a few taps even. Then it will work fine and open the link on the second or third tap.

Yup, I experienced that issue today a few times as well.

Also, I'm not a fan of the battery life on my 7 plus on this version (or any 11.x version so far) - took this screenshot this morning after moderate usage over LTE. The top battery consumers are narwhal, Safari, Twitter, and iHeartRadio before the screenshot continues on with the rest of the list.
