Yup, I experienced that issue today a few times as well.

Also, I'm not a fan of the battery life on my 7 plus on this version (or any 11.x version so far) - took this screenshot this morning after moderate usage over LTE. The top battery consumers are narwhal, Safari, Twitter, and iHeartRadio before the screenshot continues on with the rest of the list.

Seems like almost constant usage.

Looks like T-Mobile just pushed a carrier update 31.1

As of yet, Family Mobile did not push one. However, I have heard that T-Mobile sold Family Mobile but it still uses T-Mobiles network so maybe they are pushing it in a few days.

How do you know it’s constant use?

iPhone 8 Plus has 80% battery left after 6 hours of use and 6 hours of standby.
The usage numbers in the screenshot show that the usage time was almost the same as standby time.

Recommend you send feedback to Apple with a sysdiagnose.

is 100 to 20 acceptable for 4 hours of usage? not being snarky or anything, genuine question.
On the surface, it definitely comes off as being on the low side. It can depend on what was going on in regards to the almost constant usage and how good the cell signal was throughout that time, for example.

this morning was streaming iHeartRadio, 30 minutes on full signal Wi-Fi on speakers at 30% volume and then another 30 minutes over car bluetooth over LTE. already down to 80%. after using the phone for twitter/reddit/safari for another hour in strong (4 bars) LTE, the battery percentage has already dipped to the mid 50's, and another hour of usage on top of that easily dips the battery down to 20-30%.

I'm contemplating doing a DFU itunes install of 11.2 final and restoring from iCloud backup but I don't know if it's worth the time or effort. My current 'install' of iOS has just been upgrading through every beta ever since iOS 11.0 beta 4 or 5.

The 7 Plus in particular is the worst affected by iOS 11. I have seen this on countless YouTube videos,Reddit threads and Apple support communities. Even the 6 Plus gets better battery life.

When did Apple fix the bug where some website data could not be deleted in Safari settings? Just noticed it.

Today i found when i use reachability to drag the screen down no sound or vibration happen, like until now...but when i swipe up, to bring the display to normal, a sound and vibration happen

Only me? is this as intended??

Does any one knows what happened to Offline Siri?

It was enabled in the betas but it is not working on the release version

So, I've had the problem with the Weather widget not updating since original iOS 11. Amazing that they haven't been able to fix this yet as it worked perfect in iOS 10 and prior. I was hoping 11.2 would fix this but it still will not update no matter what I do, so I am relegated to just opening the app and checking there. However, the temperature on my Watch updates correctly.

Also, been having random frame drops when closing apps on 11.2. Definitely wasn't there on 11.1 or prior. iPhone 8.

Battery life back to where it was on Beta 4. Zero improvement. Looks like I have to do sysdiagnose and send to Apple again. Sigh.

50%. Even on auto it's mostly within 40-50% range
Do you lock your phone every time you put it down or in your pocket? The reason I ask these questions is that I have a feeling your battery may be draining faster than normal if that big display is too bright and not turning off unless you lock the phone.

Auto lock is generally always on. I only disable it when I am doing something on my corporate app. My brightness has always been within 40-50% ever since I got the phone.

Since 11.2 I get no iMessages thru my cars Bluetooth. Get them on my iphone. Siri works. I can make and receive phone calls thru Bluetooth. Turned off Apple Pay Cash which was default to on. Not that it should matter. But, it uses iMessages.

It shouldn't matter, but a 2016 Lexus RX350. All else works.

Thanks

PS--what's the link to report problems?

iPhone 6S+ and I am getting far better battery life with 11.1 and now 11.2 BUT and this is an important BUT, I made sure to completely drain the battery and fully charged with no interruptions to re-calibrate the battery percentage. SO, with this in mind, my batter was probably good before, however I was reading the %. Either way, 11.2 has been good for my phone.

Anyone else has this?

I open weather app, and that’s my wallpaper in the background. It doesn’t happen the moment I swipe to see other cities. It only opens like this.

Could it be that they might be about to introduce translucency here? Maybe it would be nice, but the OS needs refinement in other domains, not just this. :)

Not seeing this on my X on 11.2.
