Clean installed 11.2 on iPhone 6S two days ago and I'm experience keyboard lag in Messages app... just like in previous iOS 11 versions. Anyone else?

I miss 10.3.3!

Seems the weather widget started working correctly some hours ago. Perhaps just a push-setting from Apple server side that needed correction. Well, let’s see whether it’s still working in a few hours.
Update: showing different temperatures again ... and widget-GPS-location not updated...showing old location

So my battery drained to 0 and when I charged the phone, I found its deleted all my messages. This is such an annoyance. Now how do I get them all back?

I don't know what is going on with iOS 11.2 this is easily the most clumsy bug filled roll out in apple history.
Many peoples are still facing several issues and the most popular is Battery Life. Any normal usage drains battery by 5-10% at a time. I’ve had to charge my phone several times today and i don't know why peoples have not battery life problem on this forum, for normal people issues look at twitter:
iOS 11.2 battery: https://twitter.com/search?q=@AppleSupport iOS 11.2 battery&src=typd
For Other Issues: https://twitter.com/search?q=@AppleSupport iOS 11.2&src=typd

for me my experience on the iphone 6 running ios 11.2 has been horrible only a very little performance change noticed coming from ios 11.1 ... there are still lags and slowdowns and freezes .. the notification bug still persists and as compared to ios 10.3.3 ios 11.2 is still far from beating ios 10.3.3 performance wise

As previously posted by me,if you’re keyboard is freezing when in use/causing frozen screen, reset keyboard dictionary, please read previous posts

I have charged my 7 Plus twice a day since iOS 11 dropped. Note it's a Plus variant. I can't imagine what the owners of the smaller 7 or a 6s must be going through because having used both a Plus and a normal iPhone, the Plus always lasts almost twice as long.

Your experience doesn't really extrapolate to others, especially with different models. While there are certainly those who experience similar issues, there are many even out of that group who do not experience them anywhere close to the same degree.

Universal Copy and Paste appears to be broken for me on iOS 11.2 when using macOS Sierra 10.12.6. It worked very quickly and reliably for me with some earlier versions iOS 11.

I've gone through all of the typical suggestions: same appleID, handoff enabled on both devices (turned off and on), BackToMyMac enabled, rebooted after all of above.

I'd greatly appreciate it if others with sierra, and still others with High Sierra would see if it works for them and let me know, (please let me know which macOs you're using). Thanks

In the top left hand corner of my iPhone X lock screen, my “T-Mobile WiFi” used to scroll across to the right and then come back into view from the left and scroll to the right, repeat. Since it can’t fit in the “left ear”

Since 11.2, it no longer does that usually. It just stays there and
Chops off part of the text.

Anyone else?

No. No one should buy an iPhone. Its a stone-age instrument and doesn't deserve any consumer consideration </sarcastic rant>

I get that you may have some issues with your phone. But even assuming they're as bad as you make them out to be, I doubt the vast majority of other users experience these problems, especially given the obviously good sales of the devices, both now and in the past.

Its ok to vent here, but try to avoid over generalization in the face of massive evidence to the contrary.

I completely agree with you.

iOS 11 has been very solid for me (universal copy and paste is my ONLY issue with iOS 11.2), and I've asked all friends and family how its been for them. All have told me no problems.

We know that about 60% of iPhone users are now using iOS 11, and reportedly, sales continue to be excellent. So I believe your response to be persuasive.

When there are 800 million ios users out there, anecdotal reports of problems, really fail to give us any sense of the percentage of users experiencing difficulties. Admittedly, the same is true for anecdotal reports of a LACK of iOS problems.

Several companies issue periodic surveys of customer satisfaction, in which apple has always done extremely well. I guess we'll be watching for these surveys in the near future.

I have a battery issues too with 6s, sometimes goes down with 3 4 percents at once!

That behavior is not likely indicative of an actual problem. As a software developer, I expect that to be more likely associated with a change in the way the status is updated, (ie periodically rather than continuously) than with actual rapid loss of battery life.

Battery life on my 6s has been great, and a lot of the bugs I was experiencing have been corrected. Hope you guys find a fix for your issues soon.

Or maybe you just don't like people discussing issues you aren't facing. These threads are open for all problems including home button delay.

I may be wrong but I don't think that's his issue. I think his issue relates more to the number of people now who make comments like "apple completely sucks now, they don't give a damn, what the hell happened to them", which ends up creating many comments on both sides of that issue, which in turn, makes it much it much harder to find and read all the comments that ARE simply discussing problems

I agree with him. Not to say that the other stuff doesn't have its place. Its just that it would be great if we could read a thread like this and have a filter capability to exclude all comments that have been voted "Off Topic" by a certain threshold. Thereby reading ONLY PROBLEMS, SOLUTIONS and FIXES, and not spending as much time on the other

There is an appropriate thread for that particular discussion and there isn’t anything left to say about it. So probably would be In The best interest of this thread not to derail it with that fix; which some call a bug.
