Iphone 6s should i update ? I'am still on 10.3.3
Do not update. I am staying on 10.3.3 on my iPad Pro 2017 even. iOS 11 is just not worth it on iPhone. All you get is a new design otherwise it’s functionally the same. You will have your battery life halved and get performance issues and delays and bugs for no reason. Once I get the iPhone X the coming week I will keep that on 11.3.3. I am not letting Apple ruin expensive devices like these. I have already been fooled twice. Not anymore though.

Please stop acting like you’re working for Samsung’s marketing department. Also, don’t mislead others.

35 percent remaining and I’m fairly impressed!! iPhone 7 here on iOS 11.2 b6.

Yep, I regret updating my 6S to 11.2. Definitely higher battery drain and some lag. Shouldn't have to mess with settings to reduce keyboard lag in the Messages app.. Maybe 11.3 will bring some improvements.

So the below post is also misleading others? I don’t understand why people have to throw accusations and insults at those facing issues on iOS 11. Both iPhones I own aren’t performing or lasting well on iOS 11. Stating this shouldn’t result in accusations.

Nope, Just tried it. Same as always. Also 3D touch weather app shows same incorrect info as the widget (guessing that is the widget that is being displayed). It will update at some random time and match for a while. then all to h*** again. Unless you have to wait a while for it to update at least once. I will leave it as such until tomorrow and see how it goes and report back.
I've got an active bug report going and have been in touch with Apple engineers on the Weather widget issue - they've been asking for various data. Just uploaded another Sysdiagnose to my bug report.

Those of you that have a bug open for this issue as well, if you could provide your bug number's, I'll reference them in my bug report and if you could reference mine in yours, it might help to provide a greater sense of urgency for this issue.

Weather widget bug #: 35815518

No sure if this existed before but having the .2 releases on my iPhone and MacBook I get some level of to-way handoff with phone calls. It's works by the iPhone presenting my Mac as an audio source so I can select my mac or phone as much as i want to switch where I handle the call.

I haven't tried this with FaceTime. Also haven't noticed a Handoff prompt on my mac to handoff the phone call.

Being a customer service call I was able to give input on my phone without having to lose the call on my mac.

Yes but i love the new features so thats why i ask to see different opinions.
What new features specifically? I am running it on 6s and its fine other than a few issues but nothing really earth shattering over 10.3.3 afaik feature wise.

I've experienced this "bug" twice today on the iphone x, the home indicator bar goes missing and I can no longer get to the home page or multitask.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Those of you with the Weather widget issue, I may have fixed mine. I previously had 10 locations in the Weather app. Last night, I deleted all of them so now the only one I have is current location - since doing this, the widget has worked flawlessly every time I view it.

Anyone else able to repeat this?

Well interesting so far today its been working. After the reboot and an initial update it seems. I added back the city i'm in which is the same as current location and so far still working. Perhaps just removing all is the fix? I will see how it goes tomorrow and perhaps add one more back. I only had like 4 places in mine + the current location.

I may have spoken too soon - mine has been working intermittently today (when it had not been working at all so it's still better but not completely fixed). I think I've noticed a pattern - when I launch the weather app and I see the spinner in the status bar, it seems the weather widget fails. When the spinner is not present, it works correctly.

I just removed the 7 Plus from my case and when using Safari on LTE or any other app, the back of the phone gets warm. iOS 11 is straining the cpu.

Higher battery drain means relatively more than what he had before. It doesn’t mean to the level he’s lost his life over it.

Well that’s subjective how one feels about it. I went from charging my 7 Plus once every 1.5 days to charging it twice a day. How am I supposed to not feel angry about this?

When the iOS 12 would be released, then we should be on iOS 11.3.3 which would be released around July 2018.
In other words, Apple is forcing us to lag by one complete iOS cycle to be on a nearly error free software.

Don't really understand why there exists a public beta and a public release. If it takes a year for finished software might as well put everyone on the beta.

I would like to stay on 10.3.3 on my iPhone 6s Plus but when my new Apple Watch delivers tomorrow it will only let me pair if I'm on IOS 11. What should I do?

I have a 6s running iOS 11.2 and an WATCH S2 on watchOS 4.2 and everything is running just as well as when I was on 10.3.3.

All the bugs that plagued 11.0 have been fixed. Don’t fall victim to the “scare posts” written here into believing you will suffer catastrophic problems like your new WATCH pulling your wrist into the seventh circle of hell.

Your 6s+ will run just fine on 11.2 and congrats on your new WATCH.

Then you have no choice. Although I would have no issues keeping my Apple Watch on OS 3 if I had kept my iPhone on iOS 10. I really don’t find anything new in iOS 11 or watchOS 4 which is a drastic improvement over iOS 10 and watchOS 3.
