You can grab the official full IPSW from here: https://istheapplestoredown.com/iosI'm not on beta. I'm being offered 11.3.1 OTA on my 7 Plus, but I prefer to do a full ipsw install from iTunes.

Thanks - I already grabbed the download from ipsw.me, which also provides direct links to Apple. You can grab the official full IPSW from here: https://istheapplestoredown.com/ios
Might be time to contact Apple to see what they can do.Miserable experience. No issues until 11.3 update caused my iPhoneX to start experiencing unresponsive lock screen. This makes the phone completely useless. I have done everything from reboot, reset all settings, and restore from the computer. 11.3.1 did not fix the issue. The only thing that works is to take the iPhoneX out of my pocket and leave it on the table for several minutes. Then apparently the temperature difference between the phone case and screen stabilizes to allow the screen to work again. This is repeatable...and unacceptable.
This sounds like a completely good case of a lemon product. This has nothing to do with your software but more to do with hardware so contact Apple support.Miserable experience. Afraid not. Latest beta of 11.4 has it.Does it have new product red wallpaper??
There automated Twitter accounts that post notifications of updates being released, which are usually the first. Sites like MR and some others usually might wait a moment or two for some more sources to confirm and/or to add some more relevant information as to what's in the update and some details relating to it in the articles they post.

Seems like some security fix(es) as well. Can certainly be other smaller fixes/changes too that aren't really mentioned in the high level release announcement notes.
Conspiracy: Apple purposefully stopped third-party displays from working to subtly implant the idea in everyone's heads that they are not as reliable as first party displays. Especially now that this has happened twice, even the general public is going to be more cautious of getting a third party display. This "issue" is going to cause a lot more people to avoid third party repairs, making Apple a lot more money.
Initially even I thought Of the same but then realised, which I had read too sometime back, that the new build number starts with a different series. 2xx for iOS 11.3 and 3xx for iOS 11.3.1. Because so many versions between them also don’t make sense.Big jump from Build Number 15E216 to 15E302 for a x.x.x release.
Sounds like a nice conspiracy. Why limit to just iPhone 8 models with some specific third party display though?Conspiracy: Apple purposefully stopped third-party displays from working
The bug where you can't 3D-touch for a second or so after unlocking is still there.
I wonder if this isn't a bug, but rather a workaround to fix another bug. It seems like an obvious issue and it makes no sense, programming-wise, that it would happen accidentally.
Still slow to load (~30 seconds), but scrolling seems to have been mostly fixed (initial scroll a bit jerky, but once scrolled through and all icons loaded works fine)
- Settings app hangs and then crashes when you check General > iPhone-Storage. (iPhone X, please verify other devices)
- Works on my iPhone X, but is slow to load and scrolling through list lags [ @ErikGrim ]

Public reaction to these issues is nothing but negative. People who encounter these kind of issues are not happy and less likely to keep on buying expensive iPhones and other Apple products in the future.
Apple knows how to make money. A happy repeat customer who buys a new $1000 iPhone every two or three years is much, much more valuable than a customer who pays for a one time screen repair and then leaves the ecosystem.
So, the conspiracy theory doesn’t make any sense.
(I doubt that repair business is a meaningful source of income for Apple.)
Hmm seem like a modem update for the X
Nevermind the Wiki was wrong. Still 1.89
Sure, I saw some a shocking headline along the lines of “Yet another nasty trick from Apple - iOS 11.3 kills your display”.Yeah, I wasn't suggesting that I think this is actually the case. But it sounds like something that *could* make sense technically, or at least sounds like something someone would say.
