I think we are talking about 2 different issues. Can you create a video and post it here?

The quote below is the best description to what I am experiencing. It is an intermittent issue, and I have heard it on my GF's 7+ too. I am hearing this anomaly during some iMessage notifications Not sure how I would create a video... Recording the screen? If so, it would be very hard as the problem is intermittent.

Define "stuttery"?

11.3.1 is fine on my 7 with one exception..... notification tones sometimes play what I would describe as jerky or "stuttery". Like portions of the sound repeat several times randomly before it moves on to the next portion of the sound. Is that what you mean??

If you can reproduce the issue, take another phone or use your computer to record the sound it makes, update the file on youtube and post here the link (doesn't have to be something edited or pro, just a simple recording), so we can hear exactly what you hear.

Ever since going to 11.3.1, my iPhone SE has had battery issues. The % display drops roughly 1% every 10-20 seconds when I’m browsing the internet (Dolphin browser, but also tried Safari). Clearly unacceptable!!

Tried closing all apps and launching only what I need. Still happened.

Tried powering down and restarting.

Just tried a Reset Settings, hoping it’ll solve the problem. :(

Try to clean install the latest iOS version that is available for your device.

I have the issue on my X occasionally!

Anyone have issues with notifications when you get a text? If I'm wearing my Apple watch or I'm in the car, I sometimes don't see notifications on CarPlay nor my watch.

Had anyone else experienced fuzzy links in iMessage? It just started.

So I have and iPhone 7 and I've had some weird bugs with charging. Most nights before going to bed when I plug into charge I don't get the normal vibrate and chime that you get when plugging in. The lightning bolt shows up and the battery turns green and it charges up but when its full the usage and standby stats don't reset. The only way to reset them and get the vibrate and chime back is to reboot every night. Then the problem returns each night or though out the day.

I was looking at my storage on my MacBook Pro and noticed something weird. Could just be a typo or could it be that iTunes downloaded and installed iOS 11.3.1 for the iPhone 8 and put it on my iPhone 7??! Could this be a reason for my weird glitches and charging bug?

I am noticing the following bugs on my iPhone X 11.3.1
1. Duplication of photos
2. Duplication of notes
3. Lag when swiping up to go home from spotlight search.
4. Screen goes dark after I finish a call.
5. Mail app always shows one unread mail
6. Occasional UI lag
7. Average battery life- require low power to get through the day.

The build is the same actually for the 8 and 7 on this version, so you’ve got he right one. As for the charging chime bug, I’ve seen that quite a few times on this forum, including on 11.4 beta and it seems to be random.

That’s interesting. I know the build numbers are generally the same between iPhones but usually when you download the update it’s a little bit of a different size depending on what phone you have so I figured they can’t actually be the same exact software. So the iPhone 7 is really running the exact same software as the 8? Same with the 6S? I thought they have to be a little different and tuned properly for each different processor. But maybe not?! This would explain why the older your phone gets it just can’t quite handle each iteration as fast as the newest phones because of raw power? Nah doesn’t seem right. I think each phone has its own version of iOS tuned to its specific specs. Right?
