I am getting 3.5 - 4 hours usage from time full charge (92%), battery drain too fast.
I am getting 6 and a half hours on iPhone 7+ My wife is getting 7hours on her iPhone 8 (not plus) we pretty much have the same usage. But then again iOS 11 is designed for her phone.

I found a new “add funds to Apple ID” in the App Store.. I’m definately sure this wasn’t there in iOS 11.3. With this, I can purchase gift cards of specific value, or any other value between specific amounts, and ads then to my Apple ID.. I don’t know if it’s only for iTunes and the App Store, or it’ll work with Apple Pay too.

Hearing (ahem) that some users are still experiencing intermittent audio problems like dropped music and phone conversations...(https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fo...s-podcasts-facetime-apple-music-problems/amp/). I use bluetooth hearing aids and this affects my important access to, well, everything. Randomly dropped calls when strong cellular is indicated is one. Music and audio books too, and we’re not talking out-of-range bluetooth or low batteries (phone and hearing devices), either. Yes, maybe the carrier (TMobile) but my partner sharing the service has had few issues with this.

Agreed battery life has taken a hit, iPhone 7+ 99% battery health.
[doublepost=1525098910][/doublepost]8 months old 128GB SE varying on usage, anywhere from 3 hrs to 7-8 hours per usage. SOP now is packing a back-up battery at all times. Paired with bluetooth hearing aids (straight through to units not relayed through oendant dongle)

Same question was asked back in 11.4 beta 1 thread. Verified then, it was in official 11.3 release.

Nope, you will have to do a DFU restore to 11.3.1 and going to the lower version would also mean, you wouldn't be able to use your backup from 11.4.

yes ,expected so.. anyway beta 2 is okay, can live with it:)

11.3.1 is so good.

Everything is so fluid, fingerprint scanner is fast and battery is good.

iPhone 7 Plus.

Apart from the one fix using 3rd party screens and security issues is there any actual changes from 11.3 like speed and other stuff as im on 11.4 beta but wanted to know if its worth downgrading thanks

stability is probably the best answer here. Beta's are always going to be wonky even if its a .8 version of it. They are adding and removing code and playing around with thing and that could cause issues compared to a final release

Thats true, think ill dfu to 11.3.1 :) thank you

My iOS devices seem to be heating up more than usual. This is for my iPad 10.5 and iPhone 7. This is under normal load and even a reboot.

iOS 11.3.1 battery life is totally worse (iPhone SE - 95% Capacity). Actually iOS 11 is worse than ever. I bet, if apple allow 10.3.3 signing window, every iOS 11 user downgrade their iOS to 10.3.3

I am on IOS 11.3.1 only on my just purchased iPad Pro (a used one from 2017,which was alreqdy installed by the vendor), but use still 10.3.3 on my SE...

Seeing the fact that IOS11 was thought primarily by apple to go further for iPads it might be not too wise to upgrade from 10.3.3 to IOS 11 for iPhones?

I am still very happy with 10.3.3 on my SE. Fantastic battery time.

Perhaps people with battery drain should stop battery-draining things like true-tone, Bluetooth, wLAN outside your network and stop mobile data transmission if locked-in in your WLAN ?

There are lots of useless battery-draining „gimmicks“ like true-tone, transparency-effects, push-services, „social“media and so on that you can just stop completely or put on and off in 3seconds.

I do NOT claim at all that IOS 11 is not buggy or battery-draining , but it would be interesting if reducing useless or not-in-use features could help you perhaps somehow to survive with IOS11.... ;)

Is it just me or low power mode doesn’t work like it should it seems to me that I drain more battery turning low power mode on then just leaving it off. SMH

Lower power mode working as expected here, but I have an iPhone SE for whatever that's worth.

I'm also not experiencing any significant change in battery life between 11.2.whatever and 11.3.1, for the most part everything seems actually pretty stable and fluid.
