I'm assuming you're happy with this beta? I'm debating whether to try it or not, I'm currently only 2.5 (7+ also) and not real happy with it and my carplay so I may go beta.
Get you a backup and archive it somewhere and go for it. You can always go back if it doesn't work out for you. May want to hold off a bit tho and see if another beta drops. Its expected no b2 until next week but who knows, may come today or later this week.

New bug started cropping up for me yesterday: when charging my iPhone X (using the Apple supplied charger and lightening cable), it says "accessory not supported" when I plug it in to charge, and it doesn't charge the phone. Unplugging it and then plugging it back in again makes it work.

Speech to text dictation works like **** in the release. Word accuracy is way down, it merges words, has capitalization issues, types a whole sentence twice half of the time, if you start dictating after an existing sentence it will start in the middle of the last word, it stalls a lot and can’t seem to comprehend what is being said.

Yikes. Sounds pretty rough. I have to say though, it is a beta 1 and if the functionality has dropped off that drastically then it stands to reason that they're tweaking something in the dictation code so it'll likely improve over time. Just be sure to report it.

Yeah, I did.

Getting really bad and random lag overall, especially when in the messages app. I'll get a blank thread screen for 5 seconds before conversations load.

I can confirm SKYPE is running after the procedure which is as follows:
1) complete iTunes-backup of 11.3 (with skype crashing)
2) wipe your iPhone by deleting content and settings
3) restore iPhone from the backup you just made in step 1

Is anyone else experiencing issues with USB connectivity and syncing photos/videos to a Windows 10 PC? Device Manager doesn't report iPhone being connected but my iTunes version 12.6.3.6 sees and syncs it just fine.

Syncing fine on 12.7.3 iTunes on Windows 10

It is a known issue on this beta that thread takes awhile to load but I experience the message app freezes when I bring it to foreground over the weekend. I think it's fine for now.

Did you mean to reply to my post?

This is my first time adopting a beta 1 release and it's working just fine on my daily driver business phone 8+ 256. A couple of stutters in random apps is all I've noticed. $0.02

So, I held of installing it on my 6S+ that's from the release in Sept' 2015. Battery is supposedly at 80% health.
I decided to have some 'fun' tonight and have just gone for the install via iTunes and an IPSW file. No restore, no DFU, just an update.
1st thoughts - wow, in a good way, it feels nippier! I use FB app a lot and that is definitely faster between pages, updates, clicking on a notification and that page loading is rapid, thats better than before.
Already knew my UK banking app wouldn't work, no surprise there, I've added that to the first post.
CPU reporting as 1848 Mhz (full speed) with battery at 43%. I will update this post as battery depletes and I keep checking the CPU speed.
Geekbench 4 CPU benchmark reports 2534 single core and 4412 multi core, this is as good as it gets for me. No drop off there :D
I like the 'new' (pmsl) fact that app store now shows the size of the waiting updates again. Why they took this off the front screen i'll never know. Useful info when you're on data from your plan and not on wifi.
Although I am using 2FA, messages in the cloud was not turned on by default for me, I turned it on. Oops, that's cus I didn't open messages first and allow it to sync. lol

Although the release notes (and first post) indicate that having 2FA on triggers messages on iCloud by default, it sounds like this has not been the case for any users. We all had to turn it on manually.

90% healthy
What’s your cpu running at now at with a 10% loss of battery? I’ve noticed that performance loss now is not linear to the decline of charge and health. For example, mine shows 31% battery wear level (very high) but only throttled to 1127 MHz out of 1400. (80% of max) with 56% charge. On 11.2.x it would be down to 839 with that charge % but the wear level would be 14%.

Seems weather widget still working since install on day one. Hasn’t worked other than randomly for me since iOS 11.0 beta 1 until now with 11.3.
Well, I think it’s fixed. Time will tell. Only one or two situations that it took a little time for the values changed equal to the app values.

yes, it’s not linear. At 80% battery I get it throttled at 2100mhz but now with 35% battery I get max speed. Don’t understand.

Is it just me or memory management is a mess on this beta? I'll switch to another app and then I'll come back to my previous app 30 seconds later and it has to reload it. I literally just locked my iphone X a minute while Chrome was open and it had to reload the app. I guess I'll go back to 11.2.5...

Edit: A reboot seems to have fixed it for now.

This has to be the worst beta. Random lockup’s are now happening multiple times an hour. Debating on downgrading
