I may have missed this mentioned, but it doesn't seem to be noted in the beta 1 or 2 wikis so ...

Take a photo with Live Photo enabled, view it and take the pop-up advice to scroll up. It can use the video sequence to fake a long exposure. Cool! Well, I think so :). Think of all those trailing-car-lights photos we can take now.

These effects were actually announced during the keynote, but it may be that they weren't reported in the threads.

So it's a lot more like the macOS Dock? Do you mind posting a screenshot of what it looks like? Please?

Not 13, but

Actually my battery was terrible when i first downloaded beta 2. Once i let my battery die completely battery life is quite better now

That’s one thing I never do is let my phone die. I never let it fall below 30%. Because of that, my iPhone has almost 150 cycle counts and is still at 100% capacity. I have better luck with doing a hard reset or resetting all settings.

Cool...but before i had let my phone die...battery life sucked on beta 2...but after the cycle...it’s doing quite well

This is the first time I noticed that Maps FINALLY supports double-tap and zoom (albeit reversed from the way Google Maps does it). It’s about time they implemented this! I just hope it comes to all third party apps using Apple maps as well.

That's incredible. Definitely a leap forward in how consumers use the iPad.*

*Yes, I went there, and yes, I'm entirely serious.

I've lined stuff up similarly to a subset of my Mac and I do think there's a little less mental context switching when I move between them.

Can anyone comment on battery life. How is battery life compared to previous beta.

Battery usage on my iPhone 6s is WAY better than in Beta 1.
In Beta 1 I had about an hour of usage with Airplane Mode On, Location Services Disabled, Bluetooth Disabled and Battery Saving On. The phone would become hot and even lose battery % if I used it while plugged in.
Now I get my regular 5-6 hours without fiddling with these settings.

Also Beta 2 is much faster than Beta 1 which was very laggy. But I still see places where it's laggy though. Sometimes typing on the keyboard makes it lag a lot.

Are they trying to do a landscape Home Screen (when it's locked) ? Sometimes my iPhone flips to it, and hey, except from being buggy, it's not bad at all IMO.

No it doesn’t the apps are old compare to someone’s else iPhone the new games haven’t been updated on iOS App Store might say today’s date but same old apps from 2 weeeks ago
I think AppStore will start to update with the first public beta because Apple can't miss many customers to show new app and games. So I bet developer seed 3 and public beta 1 at and of June and we will see regular updated AppStore
