The feedback app for me hasn’t worked in both Betas. It asks me to login with my ID and then once I do it brings me up this screen. I have to report bugs from my MBP. Is this a bug itself lol

For me the feedback assistant only allows you to select iOS 10 or iOS 9. So I have to type ***IOS 11 BUG*** at the start of each section.

Those of you without a properly working Feedback app: How did you install this beta?

1. I'm a registered developer so have full access to the beta profiles
2. I like to play with cutting edge software. Not willing to pay Apple extra for this, I downloaded the beta profile after googling for it
3. I searched torrents for an ipsw file and installed it following instructions I found online. Not got a clue what I did but ooo the control centre looks funny.

:)

I wonder whether it's those who did a shift-restore directly to the beta ipsw in iTunes (ie option 3 in my sarcastic list above) that don't get the right Feedback options.

Thanks! I feel like some of the new stuff will have a steeper learning curve (at least for my 70 year old mother).

To use all the new features fully, sure, but most (not all) of the new systems don’t impair the older ones for less sophisticated users. Double press on home will open multi-tasking, the dock and CC.

The feedback app is only for public beta testers. As the public beta isn't out yet it won't work. If you're using the Dev beta you should know to use Apple's developer bug track system.

Incorrect. I have it and iOS 11 is an option.

This is not true, I installed the developer beta profile and I can see iOS 11 Beta option. I was a public beta tester before.

I've lined stuff up similarly to a subset of my Mac and I do think there's a little less mental context switching when I move between them.

Once again, a breakthrough in how we use the iPad as a productivity tool

Disclaimer: I don't own any iPad, but I just know that iOS 11 completely reinvigorates the heart and soul of iPad.

Did I drink the Kool-Aid? Maybe.
Am I showing off my knack for excellent writing? Definitely.

WhatsApp Web seems to be a lot more stable on this beta, was constantly staying disconnected in beta 1.

Not true. The feedback app works for me, and correctly identifies iOS11 beta 2. It didn't work for b1, but does now.

Well I’m a fully paid up registered Dev and the feedback app will only say iOS 10 or iOS 9. It’s a pretty widespread issue from what I’ve read.

Can you take a screenshot of your working feedback assistant showing iOS 11 where this screen shows iOS10/9?

Also does it give you the option to select the correct build no. for iOS 11 B2?

Here’s a screenshot of me logged into my dev acct as of now to show I do have one.

I have an iPhone 6S (iOS11 ß2) and an iPad Mini (1st gen, iOS 9.3.5) and maybe because of that I don't get your splash screen with a list of options; it goes straight to the form. It shows iOS11 Beta at the top and the build number (with the option to pick 15A5278f).

I don't have a dev account, but was still able to use the web-based bug reporter when I found an issue in the first beta (as the Feedback App didn't support iOS11 then).

Odd. I'm using an iPhone 7 Plus. I've been a registered Dev since iOS 8.

Anyway another bug i've found is that i can't take a screenshot of the notifications on the lock screen or the pull down notification centre anymore. If i try the phone unlocks and then takes a screenshot of the home screen.

Maybe it's because I'm a non-developer and they don't want me using the bug reporter :)

As for your other issue - sure you're not just fingerprint-unlocking by mistake? I just took a screenshot of my lock screen (but had to use a non-enrolled finger to press the home button).

Just tried a non enrolled finger and it worked. I could do it with my thumb in iOS 10 but it appears they've altered the behaviour in 11.

Can't do the pull down and swipe up to show recent notifications though. Have a try and see if you can.

Feedback App works for me too. I don‘t have an Developer Account. Only registred for Public Beta.
