Is haptic feedback supposed to be making a clicking sound now with this update? For example, when I upvote something on Reddit, it vibrates but also makes a click noise.
This is a known issue in the threads. Happens occasionally on the pressing of the home button and when using assistive touch for the same action.
Should be ok, just a misfiring of the Taptic Engine.

If the blue location notice is on lock screen after unlocking my iPhone the location notification doesn’t display the app using location services.

Am I just losing it? My location arrow is always showing in the status bar. Is that normal?

No, its not normal. It means that either an app in the background is usually location services, or the system is. You can check this by going to Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services. See if any app has a purple arrow. If not, scroll down to the bottom and click System Services. See if any of those have a purple arrow. Purple arrow means its being used right then and there. Grey arrow means it was used in the last 24 hours.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

Alright so after coming here gloating about not installing this beta I broke down and installed it last night. I’ve seen a total of two bugs, one being the date on the calendar icon missing and not being able to reorder the iMessage apps (you can drag them to new locations but they just snap back to their starting location when released). Both have been submitted in the feedback app.

I’ve also not been able to use the new Apple TV remote built into Control Center. I just get a spinner with “Connecting to...”. No big deal there either. The remote with voice commands is a joy to use anyway.

Outside of those minor issues, this is a very solid beta. Battery life is right around where it was on 10.3.3 B4 and I LOVE how Safari’s scrolling matches the rest of the OS now. Later Chrome!

Another way is by hard pressing it (or a long press if you're on a device without 3D Touch), then you can simply touch the X button to dismiss it. Not the best thing in the world, but it's a good workaround for now. Hope Apple fixes it soon.

Same. I want to be able to easily dismiss like the good ole days. LOL.

WELL DESERVED. My God.

can someone check barclays UK app still broken?
Hi syphern, I do not bank with Barclays, however I just installed the app and it opens up and starts the process of setting the app up. What issue were you having?

Just tried to play music from my phone to my 2014 Mazda3 using USB and Bluetooth and neither worked. USB said authentication failure, Bluetooth just kept trying to load infinitely. I've loved iOS 11 so far, especially the new App Store, but there's no way I can go without being able to play music from my phone in the car. iOS 10, here I come.

Ok was going crazy over the battery issue whereby usage and standby the same. I experimented by switching Bluetooth off and disconnected my Apple watch. Today the drain was not so bad and most importantly both the stats are not the same anymore albeit still showing quite high usage time.

Not sure if the Bluetooth is causing the drain but worth trying out for those having similar issues.

I’m having no issues with my 2014 Mazda 6. But mine doesn’t have the Mazda Connect infotainment system like yours and newer Mazdas have.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that I no longer get notifications on my Fitbit Blaze since this update. I guess they’ll have to update something on their end.

Yeah, 2014 was the first year for the Mazda 3 to get Mazda Connect. In the process of restoring back to my iOS 10 backup now though ;)

Anyone having crazy battery drain problems on the 6s? When I use safari, the battery goes from 30 to 1% in minutes. The battery stats might also be wrong because my usage and stand by time are the same, I checked the apps and very few work in the background for merely 2, 3 minutes. ALso my 6s's battery is at 83% of its original capacity.

Battery life on my 7 Plus is not great, you can see it drop a few numbers in real time with almost no use. What I noticed is that if you open any app that uses the camera, it gets really really hot, aun you can loose 15% in less than 10 minutes, without taken a lot of photos (like 5), and in my case if I use my AirPods to listen to music (app: Deezer) i can see the battery go away quick too.
A few things, sometimes the music app appears like you are pressing on it(long tap), but you are not (opening makes the icon normal again), in my case I need to play some music on the music app to get my phone recognized by my car radio (Sony) and that I can use other streaming app, and sometimes it will not play the music on the music app, the the app closes and whenever you try to play any song, the app closes until you make a hard reset.
those are like the more annoying things for me, but you can use a 7 plus with this as your daily driver just fine.

I’m experiencing a bug on my iPad Pro 9.7” that can be fixed with a restart but then shows up again within a day of use. All of a sudden multitasking via drag and drop from the dock stops working. I’ll open the first app, swipe up for the dock, press and hold the icon in the dock for the second app then drag it up onto the first but the UI won’t display anything that indicates you can invoke any kind of multitasking no matter where you are dragging the icon. Dropping the icon results in it shaking then falling back to the dock. A restart fixes it but eventually it returns.

I filed a bug report via the Feedback app but I don’t think the report or logs uploaded properly. I can see the report under the Submitted heading in the Feedback app but when I scroll to the bottom the file name is in grey with an icon just to the left of the file name that looks like a grey X with a circle around it. I ran into an issue getting any kind of bug report to upload successfully via the Feedback app while testing the iOS 10 betas and eventually gave up trying. I was hoping that would’ve been fixed by now but

Has anybody else run into either issue? Is there a fix for the Feedback app? It’s frustrating to encounter a bug and have logs that might help to fix it but not to be able to upload the Feedback successfully.

So far the beta on the iPad Pro 10.5 has been pretty good. No battery drain or heating up. There are some hiccups with opening apps and the App Store. I had a couple of issues with tapping the pencil on the screen without unlocking the iPad and going straight to notes, just seemed unstable in that mode. Accessing and using notes normally was fine, love the new lines feature notes has.

Has anybody experienced the lock screen wallpaper getting stuck in landscape mode? It’s happened to me a couple of times and a restart will do the trick but I’ve ignored it to find that it eventually goes away on its own.

Neither purify or ad guard are working in iOS 11.Is there a single content blocker which works?
