Yeap ... it's the same for BT toggle as well ... since Beta 1

It's really a minor bug and I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed.

On another note, my News and Notes apps work again after updating to iOS 11. I previously downgraded because the performance was so terrible on Beta 1, but I didn't have a backup so I had to do the "Update to iOS 10.3" method which of course caused some issues. All my messages and stuff is back now though. Performance seems OK so far.

Anyone else getting this weird text notification glitch whereby the word 'maybe' is in front of the senders name? LOL. So on iOS 10 it was just a number and never a name, now its always got 'maybe' in front of it. At least its a part improvement! :) See picture, I have edited a name out.

I don't have it for every message, just the ones it seems to recognize.

This is a feature that was introduced a long time ago. It pulls info from other sources (email, social media, etc.) to guess who may be contacting you.

Does the Apple TV control centre remote work in beta 2? Or is it just usable with the Siri Apple TV? I have the last gen Apple TV.

It's working with my ATV 4 and iP7. Sometimes it won’t find the ATV when first opened. It then will connect after closing it and reopening it again.

Oh getting lots of resprings this morning. Then all my photos were gone. Now it’s slowly adding the 9,854 photos back I guess from iCloud. So weird. Also lost a conversation with a friend on messages app. Still ok. Will hold off on downgrading. Nothing critical yet. All my apps work.

I lost a convo with one of my friends today too. Weird.

After spending a couple hours examining my CPU usage with Xcode I have determined two processes that are causing the issue: dataaccessd and mediaanalysisid. I get a few spikes with photoanalysisid and mobileassested. I honestly have no idea what any of these do (besides photoanalysisid). From my research around the developer forums, a restore as new is probably the best bet. A pain in the butt, but thats what I get for installing betas. So if anyone is experiencing high battery drain, and an overall slower device. Download Xcode and check instruments. You may find your problem.

If you have a Mac, download Xcode beta. You can use instruments to figure it out.

Well I find a bug. Reset all content and settings button doesn't work.. Well then.

You have to disable Find My iPhone in iCloud settings and then sign out of iCloud on your device, then it should work!

I lost a convo with one of my friends today too. Weird.

My convos aren't backup up to iCloud but it's disappearing too. I would get notification I got new message but no new message in the message app. If I force close the message app, I would see them when I relaunch it.

Finding it odd how many bugs people are reporting are showing up a few weeks into this beta. Makes you wonder if Apple tweaks things server-side that causes this.

How does the control center look on the lock screen on the iPad? Any pictures?

Thanks, thats what I figured. I think they should have done something else. It's consistent with the multitasking screen I give them that. Just feels like a waste of space.

Changing the layout under different circumstances would ruin the “muscle memory” recall

This is probably mentioned somewhere, but looks like the Bluetooth button is still useless in the control center. It turns on Bluetooth but can't turn it off.
It’s intentional. It’s only meant to turn it on or disconnect from current connections. The same goes for the wifi toggle. I don’t like it either

Really? Wow, that is a really stupid move. Maybe I haven't kept up with the latest WiFi/BT standards, but I'm pretty sure it's still a slight battery drain keeping them on when not in use.

Is not being able to dismiss notifications also a "feature" now?

Very slight, yes. Especially Bluetooth.

I suspect (I cannot know for sure, since they havent said) that the reasoning is that both radios are useful even you havent made an explicit connection to anything. Wifi improves location services, reducing the need to use the much more power hungry GPS unit. Bluetooth connects the Watch, Pencil and is fundamental to Continuity/Handoff. Powering off the radios gains you very little and loses a lot.

Well it’s never worked for me right through any version of iOS 10. Can’t remember the last time it worked!

Oh I didn't mean the layout. It's easily reachable now with one hand. I mean the left side with all the blurring.
