Switching off the Bluetooth and WiFi in Control Centre shows them as switched off in the Control Centre, but they remain switched on the Settings.
Anyone can clarify.
Stupid question:
I see that you can now drag and drop things (pictures, web links, etc).
Is this something that can only be used on the iPad? I see that I can drag pictures around in iMessage, but have no clue why that functionality exists on the iPhone.
I feel like this should be posted on every page: RESET ALL SETTINGS! Everybody who is having issues beyond those listed in the first post, needs to try Reset All Settings. It will in most cases fix any strange bugs that are not part of the known beta bugs.
On the phone you can drag and drop within an app. So, move some text and images between one note and another for example. Your drag selection disappears if your try to switch apps however.
Ah, ok. I was only playing around with it in iMessage and couldn’t figure out what in the world the point of that was.
When you have Bluetooth headphones connected, the headphones icon now properly displays the battery level of the headphones next to it, as opposed to before, where it would just show the headphones icon.

Anyone else seen a report of this? I have a Logitech keyboard case w/smart connector on my 9.7” iPad Pro. I get this prompt to “update” every time I connect it regardless of if I choose update or cancel. It’s been present since beta 1
This is intended behaviour as per the release notes.
Actually, before you go and record the screen can you check the setting in Settings->Touch ID & Passcode-> Reply With Message?
Edit: @Type4O and @ATalkingRock. What device are you both using?
I’m using an iPhone 6 and reply with message is turned on in the Touch ID settings!
Hmm. Wonder why mine doesn’t do that when AirPods are in use.
Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet...keyboard is messed up in this beta.

Hi, planning to install the public beta on my 7+. I dont want to install the WatchOs beta on my Apple Watch where my 7+ is connected. Would there be any issues of having the beta on my 7+ but not on my watch? Thanks!
Have you tried to turning “Auto-Capitalization” in the keyboard setting or turning off all and test if any is the cause?I’m going mad. iMessage insists on capitalising the word ‘out’ if it comes before ‘of’. So if I type ‘out of’ it becomes ‘Out of’ every time. I’ve reset dictionary multiple times and it remains. I have no idea what’s caused it to think that’s correct punctuation. Any clue?? Issue has been present in PB1 & 2.
Try turning off 3D Touch in Settings, hold power till you see option to turn off then release it and press home till it disappear, restart phone and turn on 3D Touch again.Yeah whenever I do this from the lock screen (not the notification panel when you'r eunlocked) the notification bubble just shakes around horizontally and doesn't give an option to quick reply on both the message app and a third party one which usually allows it. I have the option enabled in the settings too. hmmm
