Sometimes a reset of Hue Bridge and/or AppleTV will clear up transient issues. I suppose that's not really surprising, nothing's perfect. For anything more permanent this reset routine should sort you out.

BTW I did forget to mention that you will have to add your automations again too.

So that did the trick. Though I had to add another automation this morning to turn the AC off earlier, otherwise I just sleep through my alarms, lol.

Thank you a TON.

Game Golf app appears to be broken on beta 3, when trying to start a round with the Live device, the app crashes when the Live device gets a GPS lock.

Read thru the thread and you'll find a fix.

I'm having the same issue, and none of the fixes have worked, including:

  • hard restart
  • quitting app via multitask
  • removing sim card
EDIT: resetting the Voicemail password fixed it. Apparently, that's the AT&T fix.

iPhone 6+, Beta 3, AT&T

I temporarily downgraded, but upgraded again because watchOS 4 doesn’t work with iOS 10.

I did a fresh restore and iOS 11 is working a lot better. And thank god for iCloud messages, I haven’t lost anything.

Anybody having intermittent issues with the Favorites in Contacts? Sometimes I go in there, and the names and pictures are there, and other times I go there, and it's just the numbers (but still with the pictures). Seems to be no rhyme or reason to it from what I can tell.

Overall Beta 3 is better, but battery life is still terrible, don´t you guys think?

It’s surely not as good as It could be but it’s far from as bad as it was on betas 1 and 2. At least on my 7+.

Games are terrible though. Maybe Metal 2 needs more tweaking from Apple.

Has anyone checked their data usage since being on iOS 11? I just checked today, and normally I use maybe 2-3GB of my allotted 10GB per month. Since my billing cycle reset on the 8th, I’ve used almost 5GB in the last 6 days, and I haven’t done anything different than I normally do. Anyone else seeing this?

...how aren't you on an unlimited plan at this point? lol

Found the culprit. So the App Store (which hasn’t been working, as any updates just keep spinning) apparently is doing something. 3GB in the last 7 days. Anyone else seeing this? Wonder if this is a bug with the connection to the App Store?

1Gb for me in the last two days. Same issues updating some apps. Think I'll turn off cellular for App Store until the next beta.

I have only 2 out of the 6 family members that use more than 1-2GB a month (just myself and my 13 yeqr old daughter). Everyone else is lucky if they hit 1GB each month. Right now, I pay $140 for 10GB each, for 6 lines and we get free video streaming and free audio streaming included too, which doesn't count against our 10GB cap. To go to an unlimited plan, we'd be paying about $180-200. Not worth the extra cost right now, as it's like having unlimited since it would mostly be used for data and audio streaming anyways, without paying the unlimited prices.

I have no intention of giving up this plan until they pry it from my cold, dead hands... ;)

Pulling the Sim & restarting the phone fixed my Voicemail issue. Now everything is working...

I tried it all, I ended up pulling the sim & restarting the phone and it fixed the issue.

This is unclear.

Did you restart the phone with the SIM removed, and *then* replace the SIM? If so, did that require another restart?

I get that, I was mostly joking. But, I could swear that I could do that for, I think, for $135 with my current plan (minus device payments, of course).

Who are you on? I'm on Tmobile. If you can figure out a way to get me 6 lines for $135 on unlimited, PLEASE let me know! :)

Interesting thing I just noticed with Bluetooth headphones (AirPods), but I’m not sure if this is new to this beta or has been discussed already.

When you toggle the Bluetooth off from the CC, of course it disconnects from your AirPods. But rather than having to toggle it back on and reconnect, you can go straight to the audio output button in the CC and still select the AirPods, even with Bluetooth still toggled off, and they will reconnect and toggle Bluetooth back on. I’ve found this is faster and easier than toggle-and-reconnect, and a nice feature for when you want to put the AirPods in your pocket without the case but don’t want audio being diverted through them.
