Interesting thing I just noticed with Bluetooth headphones (AirPods), but I’m not sure if this is new to this beta or has been discussed already.

When you toggle the Bluetooth off from the CC, of course it disconnects from your AirPods. But rather than having to toggle it back on and reconnect, you can go straight to the audio output button in the CC and still select the AirPods, even with Bluetooth still toggled off, and they will reconnect and toggle Bluetooth back on. I’ve found this is faster and easier than toggle-and-reconnect, and a nice feature for when you want to put the AirPods in your pocket without the case but don’t want audio being diverted through them.

Yes, it's because the CC buttons no longer actually turn off BT or Wifi, they just disconnect any existing connections until the user takes some manual action (either toggling the radio back on in CC or manually initiating a specific connection, as you did with the AirPods)

Who are you on? I'm on Tmobile. If you can figure out a way to get me 6 lines for $135 on unlimited, PLEASE let me know! :)

T-Mo as well. My base One Plus is $75, and then adding 5 lines, I thought at $10 each, would be $125. Unless I derped?

Edit: I checked their site, I was totally wrong. My bad, sir. 4 lines for $160.

Anyone have an issue with YouTube where while watching a video, it stops with an error

I have a similar problem. About 10-20 seconds after the video starts suddenly there is no sound... Anyone know how to fix it?

I'm having the same issue, and none of the fixes have worked, including:

  • hard restart
  • quitting app via multitask
  • removing sim card
EDIT: resetting the Voicemail password fixed it. Apparently, that's the AT&T fix.

iPhone 6+, Beta 3, AT&T
Not for me... Have pulled the SIM, hard restart, quitting app AND tried to reset VoiceMail password. My saving password gets stuck on "Saving Password". I don't know whether to let it ride for more than the 5 minutes I've been giving it or what.

Right. I knew that, yet for whatever reason I was still pleasantly surprised at how quickly and seamlessly I could reconnect to the AirPods.

OK. Fixed. i also had to do the following:
  1. Turn on the password in your voice mailbox
  2. Call your voicemail box from your wireless phone by pressing and holding "1". If you have new messages, press the star key (*) to get to the voicemail Main Menu, then follow the steps below. If you have no new messages, follow the steps below.
    • Press 4 for Personal Options
    • Press 2 for Administrative Options
    • Press 1 for Passwords
    • Press 2 to turn password on

Am I using an iPhone 6s Plus or an iPhone 5s?

Actually, before you go and record the screen can you check the setting in Settings->Touch ID & Passcode-> Reply With Message?

Edit: @Type4O and @ATalkingRock. What device are you both using?

I am using a 6. I checked the Rely with Message setting and it is on. I have decided to go back to 10.3.2. My phone keeps loosing battery at an astonishing rate. Just did it again. Went from 70+% to 12% in approx 40mins. Also, my AirPods will not stay connected.

It seems from what people are saying that there's a bug with not being able to "pop" notifications for non-3d touch phones. Mostly I've seen people say it's not working with the 6, but also I think I saw one person say they had it on SE too.

Can't blame you not wanting to deal with that battery life. There are things that seem to have helped some people but you've probably seen them already.

Does anyone use Things v3 and have it working on iOS 11b3? I have b3 on my iPad, where Things now starts up, then crashes. I reinstalled it and it opened and was functional once, then it continues to crash upon opening. I use Things heavily so have held of on b3 on my iPhone because of this.

Yup, and the only one that may help, because I do use it a fair bit, is switching off location based alerts, and location services in general, but I am not willing to give that up, so back to 10.x and I'll watch the posts for signs of improvement.

Same issue here. I've done multiple restarts. I first reset my network settings and then reset all settings...nothing, it still happens. I have found that I just have to go to the YouTube website, not the app.

Since you’re on the website anyway go get PiPifier from the App Store and enjoy PiP/background YouTube for free.

Yep - I found the solution in this thread: iOS 11 Developer Beta: App Compatibility
While it says to simply disable notifications, I ended up having to uninstall/reinstall before the app would stop crashing. All good now though.

Hi I’m running the second public beta release on my iPhone 6s + and was wondering if anyone else was having issues with the camera (and other apps that use the camera such as Instagram and Snapchat)? The main camera app doesn’t even load half the time for me and other apps will load the camera but when using the rear camera it will be shakey and blurry.

I might be out of proper thread to ask the questions but : does anyone tried iOS 11 beta 3 on iPhone 5S? Is it for the moment a daily driver, or not usable at all?
