This was happening on my 7+ (along with MANY other bugs) that made it unusable as a DD for me. Someone on another thread suggested RESET ALL SETTINGS. This helped tremendously for me - the majority of all the really nasty bugs are now gone...at least for now. It’s a bit of a pain having to go back and change all the settings to where you want them, but you don’t lose any data with this option. It’s definitely a lot faster than doing a clean install from scratch. I would at least try it before giving up on B3...you can always do a clean install if this doesn’t work for you...
Anyone else having issues with enabling dictation for Messages? If I click the microphone, I get a dialog box asking me to enable dictation. It remains on the screen for only a second and even if I can manage to hit the enable button, it does nothing. If you've encountered this, any alternate way to enable dictation? I've checked settings and it seems this dialog is the only way.
Also, anyone else having issues with notifications in the Outlook app? Keeps sending me the same notifications over...and over...and over...and over....

I’m sorry, I completely misread what you said and thought you were talking about the switcher. No, you’re right, nothing on the lock screen.
I realised one fix to the keyboard nag is to only have my favourite keyboard enabled ie delete the standard keyboard. Result! No more nags

Handoff does not show up on lock screen as form of icon anymore. It is available in app switcher.This. Handoff works in App Switcher on the iPhone, every single time, perfectly. I have not seen any icon ever on the lock screen where it is supposed to be. I do not know if this is a bug, because when I got my iPhone some days ago, I immediately updated the iOS 10.2 install to iOS 11 beta and only then did I begin installing anything on it and using it.

Hope next beta fixes this issue. Not deal breaker but a bit annoying.
What's funny is that I almost exclusively shuffle my playlists, but wanted to listen to the new release of Radiohead's OK Computer...definitely didn't want to shuffle that.
I guess single repeat is kinda better than album or playlist shuffle.

Anyone else having issues with Photos? Namely where it randomly restores and then there are gaps in the photos. Some show up white and appear when clicked, but instantly disappear again. They are in iCloud and on my computer just fine. But won’t show on the phone.

The issues I have at the moment is editing a photo sometimes won’t save, even after a forced restart of the phone.
Also I have an issue where around 1k photos and about 30 videos I took recently aren’t showing. They show if I log into iCloud on the Mac. But in the Mac Photos and iPhone Photos app they don’t appear. Nothing I do will get them to show either.

I now believe the reason why A9 does not support HEVC and HEIF. Performance is not enough.
I have a few video clips encoded as HEVC. While watching it, the phone becomes hot and battery drops low rapidly. I am using iPhone 6s Plus. A9 is just not powerful enough to decode HEVC content efficiently, let alone encode.

Has anyone had an issue of data from Apple Watch not calculating correctly in the Health App? For example Steps, my watch shows 4,000 steps but Apple Health only show 800 steps but if I look into to the "Show All Data" my AW steps are there and it sure looks like 4,000 steps but when I go back to the total it only shows 800. I am on the 2nd Public Beta but on the latest AW release (no beta). I am noticing this on Active Energy, Resting Energy, Exercise Minutes but NOT Workouts or Stand Hours.
Neither of the above problems are happening on my end, on the betas I usually reboot the phone each morning, proactively
I noticed this the other day and have kept an eye on it. I have rebooted the phone and even unpaired/re-paired the watch yesterday but no difference. I really noticed it because Dicks Sporting Goods has a move item in their app that gives you 3 points a day if you have 10,000 steps. My watch had 14,000 but the phone only had me for 3,900+ so I didn't get they points. I submitted a feedback form and I will continue to monitor it.
Update: Microsoft released an update to Outlook this morning. They didn't refer to this issue in the release notes, but it has not occurred again since I updated the app.
On the "enable dictation" issue, I discovered that you can enable dictation from other apps that use a keyboard. Once done, its enabled system wide. Still a bug and I reported it.
Do you lose your Wi-Fi networks too? I have iCloud Keychain enabled; in the past, I've lost all my Wi-Fi passwords across iOS devices and my MacBook once I reset all settings on my iPhone with iCloud Keychain toggled on.
Anyone else having problems with any of their WiFi networks disabling the Auto Join toggle on its own? A lot of times I'll leave my home network and go out, connect to another network for a while, come home and it won't auto connect to my home network. Then when I go into the WiFi settings, it says "Auto Join disabled" under my home network and I have to manually enable it.
