Within the last few minutes my phone has become noticeably snappier. Must have been indexing.

I liked this post on the assumption you are satirizing the usual first hour comments!
I have to 7 pluses and tested both side by side and 10.3.3 is amazing and 11 beta 3 is still closing opening and closing apps and it crashed with in first 10min im gonna give it for time but i guess just hoped would be better than beta 2

Yeah, I'm not judging the phone's speed on the first day upon update.

Interestingly it seems the app opening animation is now different for apps that have already been recently opened. Instead of zooming into the app icon like previous betas, now it's the app sliding from the right hand side of the screen when launch! (iPhone 7)

Pulling the Sim & restarting the phone fixed my Voicemail issue. Now everything is working...

Just close the Phone app from the multitask and it should be fixed.
I tried it all, I ended up pulling the sim & restarting the phone and it fixed the issue.

Whoops. I broke springboard on the iPad trying to get the popup menu for Files. Files icon now floats freely  Stays above other apps too. Restart time!

Ok after a restart and can't reproduce the issue now.

Modes of drag and drop, popup-menu and wiggle mode are much more readily distinguished now. Try this on the Files app for example on an iPad.

- Quick tap: Starts app as always
- Short hold and drag: Initiates drag and drop
- Slightly longer hold with no drag. Popover for recent files
- Looooong hold with no drag: Wiggle mode.

Quite easy to get the hang of. Found them very hard to handle on DP2

Pulldown to search now shows word suggestions well above app suggestions, which I'm not really a fan of. I always use pulldown to search to access my apps.

Family Purchases now showing up correctly in App Store.

Thanks. At this rate, I'll be upgrading to iOS 11 next May.

(Who am I kidding, it's when that OLED iPhone drops.)

You can swipe up to dismiss notifications on the iPad. But iPhone still makes you 3D touch to dismiss.
Can someone tell whether the notifications do appear for new mails received in favorited folders also, or do they appear just for mails received in Inbox folder.

When you click sync on iMessage it now states how many items it's syncing. Also sorting iMessage apps now works as there is a slightly different interface now where you select favourite apps.

When I click on Voicemail, it now has a "Call Voicemail" button instead of instantly calling voicemail.

Cannot seem to reproduce that new app opening animation anymore.

For those of you who find the phone extremely slow (or worse than Beta 2) give it a couple of minutes. Now mine is as fast if not faster then Beta 2 from previously sluggish minutes ago.

The animation when killing apps was smooth and really nice for a solid 5 minutes, then it came back the old stuttery one. In terms of performance, in feels worse.

Every time I check for the update on my 10.5 iPad Pro it says that iOS 11 is up to date. I already did a restart. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Right, so the memory leak is still there from beta 1, where if you close all the apps the animations become faster again.

Heads up: The UI may lock up during update. Don't try to reboot or anything, it will respring after a few minutes and allow you to proceed with the install.
thanks, this was very useful to know. I was starting to get worried looking at the progress bar.

I had issues downloading on my iPhone. I had to remove the profile. Log back into app dev site from safari. Reinstall profile. Reboot, worked after that.

Wth? So what if you get a notification? It just lights up the screen and shows nothing?

I already forgot "earlier today" as it was, finding notifications from days ago randomly. Now i will miss even more.

Here i was thinking the lock screen / notification center merger couldnt get any worse ...
no it pops up and shows notifications that happened while the device was locked. This is more for after the device is unlocked it shows all notifications when invoking the new lock screen notification center hybrid. Instead of swipe down, then swipe up.

Voicemail issue on iPhone 7 with T-Mobile on beta 3. A red dot shows up on Phone icon and inside on voicemail and says call voicemail. No Visual Voicemail.

Visual Voicemail RED DOT on mine too. UK > O2

ok scrap that, just a simple reboot fixed it. (no need to pull sim)
