Probably been answered 100's of times before but when does a PB hit after a dev release? same day or the next day?
You always could, but it would pop up the passcode entry by default. Now it's just asking for TouchID with the option for passcode.

New Features
- Notification Center now allows the ability to swipe left to right to open a notification. Right to left to present options of View or Clear. Continuing to drag right will open the notification. Continuing to drag left will clear it.
If we were able to lock individual apps with Touch ID, this is how I'd imagine the UI. Can't believe it's been 4 years since we all want this and still nothing.New screen when you tap a notification while the device is locked. It’s probably to teach people to use Touch ID and not put the passcode. It does still give you the option though. This is a nice update.![]()
Early on, usually 2 days later. Towards the end, sometimes same day (several hours later) or next day. We're getting towards that later stage, but not sure if we're quite there yet. I'd guess Wednesday for the PB3 release.Probably been answered 100's of times before but when does a PB hit after a dev release? same day or the next day?
The new app switcher is amazing!!! It’s much smoother than in the previous betas and it automatically closes now when all apps are removed. Also, if you try to open it when no other apps are active, it now does not open and vibrates to confirm it’s not currently usable!
Has any downloaded beta 4 on the 2017 IPad Pro yet? If so, how is it running?
Individual apps can be locked if the Developer allows it. Dropbox and PDF Expert are examples of that.If we were able to lock individual apps with Touch ID, this is how I'd imagine the UI. Can't believe it's been 4 years since we all want this and still nothing.
That's new info, thanks man! Apple needs to widespread this with Messages and PhotosIndividual apps can be locked if the Developer allows it. Dropbox and PDF Expert are examples of that.
In context of the above, there is one issue. Since Handoff icons are not visible on the lock screen anymore, the only way to get to them was the app switcher. Now, if you have closed all apps, you cannot open app switcher, meaning - no handoff. So for that, if it is important, we may need to keep at least one app open.
Also, 3D Touch lag seems to have increased.
Also, the text shortcuts still do not work on 3rd party keyboards.
There's no need to be closing all your apps anyway, so this should be an extremely uncommon situation.
They did in beta 1 and 2.
Oh no way. Didn’t realise this.
Suppose il have to buy and another atv4

Are you running a dev beta?I still dont have this as an available update but I sure hope it fixes all of the freeze-ups I was having with PB3. Snapchat takes solid black images and Square closes on open but I realize those are app-specific fixes that need to be implemented.

For iOS 11:
DB1
DB2=PB1
DB3=PB2
DB4 (no PB3 as of now)
You def don't need to ever end up in a situation where there are no apps in the switcher. If anything, this just makes apps take more CPU time as they reload entirely.
