I would really appreciate if someone would respond to my post.

How is the stability?
Is battery draining quickly for some people? (Doesn't have to be totally answered but I'm sure you'd know if it was still draining fast.)
The heat of the phone? Super hot in the top right corner?

I hate that I ask simple questions yet I don't get a reply :(:D

I would appreciate it guys.
Its only been 2 hours, ask tomorrow.

No, does not. I have a Safari window on my MBP open, and nothing happened on the iPhone. This what you said was the first thing I checked myself. :p

Okay, thanks for letting me know Haha, I didn't have the beta yet because I downgraded back to 10.3.3 so I wouldn't know. I'm actually on vacation in Saint Paul, MN and won't be home till later today. It's crazy how the consumers can assume that a smart company like apple would consider these small things but they don't in the end. I'm sure they'll fix it though since it's just beta. Most people are on their public software which works perfectly fine :rolleyes:

It will be when you need to use Facial Recognition to verify identity on an Apple Pay Reader (NFC reader). How are you going to line up the front camera to point at your face while tapping the phone flat onto a reader? At least 75% of the readers I've used for Apple Pay are mounted down to a counter in a configuration that won't allow me to point the camera at my face. That's going to be a big problem if they get rid of TouchID for Facial Recognition IMHO.
You can authorise and then have let's say 5-10s to put it near the reader...

Its only been 2 hours, ask tomorrow.
For two hours when I had all the other betas my phone always ran continuously hot. It's not hard to say after two hours if the phone is hot or not because two hours the phone should've already been indexed and could even be fully charged in two hours. But thanks for your comment.

There is one happy and positive change for me. It pertains to App Switcher behaviour.

Double click to get into app switcher and remove all apps. After the last app goes off, it goes back to home screen on its own. Beautiful!

Not only that, after this when you try to get into app switcher, it does not let you get into it! Splendid!!

These two things have been the most important and needed changes for me so far. :)
Not happening on iPad Mini 4. I can close all apps and it stays there with control center on right. Then go back in as always.

i acadently deleted my beta profile so i need help getting that back so i can ota beta 4
Accidentally? o_O How can you accidentally do that, its several steps. Anyway just reinstall the profile like you did the first time. Nothing special you have to do.

Pull-To-Refresh in the App Store Updates tab.

Always done that as far as I know. Am I missing something?

Is pull to refresh on the Updates tab new?
Not that I am aware. Its always done that. Not sure what these posts stating that is new is about.

A buggy calendars icon.

Bluetooth control centre bug fixed! When you turn off Bluetooth in control centre it gets turned off completely

Edit: it’s still the same, the fanboy inside of me got very excited, said not connectable and me being excited that a new beta has come out thought it was off...
I do not believe this to be a big, but it is how Apple wants the Bluetooth and wifi toggle to function. I think it's a stupid idea and I do hope they go back to how it is in iOS 10, but not a bug.

To be clear, I’m not talking about the Bluetooth toggle - I’m talking about the status bar icon (the Bluetooth symbol next to the battery percentage). In past versions of iOS, the icon would be gray unless you were paired with a device, in which case it would become bold.

In the last two betas, the icon is constantly bold.

Just saw a vid on YouTube overgoing the changes with a couple that I don't think have been mentioned here. There's a new battery animation that goes from full to half when enabling/disabling low power mode in control centre. There's also a new bell animation for mute on iPad and iPod Touch that swings when enabling/disabling it.

Edit: Nevermind, the low power mode one has been mentioned.

Not necessarily for future devices, though. For existing devices, it has to.
Apple Pay is dependent on touchID and I think all the speculation about the next phone not having touchID is way off. Now, back to the regularly scheduled programming.

Apple Pay is CURRENTLY dependent on TouchID. They are allowed to change that as long as it remains as secure.

Then that is likely a bug as you suggest. My mistake.

Of course. Beta software. You win some, you lose some, you go through the journey. :) Enjoy your vacation!

Location arrow still does not go away. Not the solid arrow, but the hollow one. Is there no way to make it go away when nothing is currently using your location?

I’m laughing at all the Apple nerds on twitter thanking Apple for fixing notifications. How do we know that it was reverted back to iOS 10 behavior because of complaints on social media? This isn’t the first time we’ve seen behavior changes between betas. Honestly if Apple made changes based on opinion on the internet most icons would look different than they do now.

Facial recognition and/or entering a passcode would make Apple Pay bit more cumbersome, potentially reducing its use and continued expansion. I am going to stop commenting on this now, at least within this thread.

*edit: Facial recognition or having to input a passcode would make Apple Pay more cumbersome, not Touch ID. My original post has been adjusted with this change
