It's still got bugs (system panels I can't close/restarts/visual overlaps), but I find it suitable for normal use. iPhone 6.

Running fine on an iPad Pro 10.5, with lower than optimal battery life (much better than db3 though).
All apps are working, a major exception being MXPlayer which is consuming a lot of battery, but that likely needing new OS compatibility from the dev.
Apple News seems to have disappeared from my iPad. Anyone else seeing this?

Beta 2 and 3 were reasonably bug-free for me on my 9.7" iPad Pro. A few graphical glitches but little else. Today on Beta 4 I had my first full lockup where I had to hard restart.
I am using it as a daily driver but have figured out the bugs. Such as hitting the lock button and having the screen darken for 2 minutes.some occasional springboarding during the day and horrible battery life. Hopefully beta Tuesday or Wednesday will improve things
In Beta, nothing is normal. Are your iPhone 7 pluses getting warm also? Is it normal?
My news app disappeared when I turned on location services and it probably realised I wasn't running a US account. I still don't understand what's stopping Apple from rolling out this app to users worldwide.
kind of doubt that it will improve by that much in 2 weeksBeta monday
It’s working on my 6s on Sprint on DB4.Curious if you lose voicemail transcription with the beta like with iOS 10x betas?
Now that b5 has been out for almost 12 hrs, what does everyone think about it as a daily driver?
Is beta 5 getting your iPhones hotter than usual?
It's much more of a daily driver candidate than B4. With B4 I kept having glitches and high CPU issues (with battery drain), all pretty much gone in B5.
Not anymore, no. With B4 that was the case, though.

Each beta is different though. There are oftentimes performance improvements and of course bugs fixed with each one. And yet sometimes there's downgrades. Each beta is different, so it's worth asking with each one whether it's decent enough to run on a daily device. The advice given for b4 has no effect on b5.Look at the previous 4 pages on running "betas" as "daily drivers"
Agreed. After reading the main beta 5 thread, opinions on performance are decidedly mixed with this build. I'm considering staying with PB3 when PB4 is released later today. Each beta is different though. There are oftentimes performance improvements and of course bugs fixed with each one. I'm still gonna hold off on my 7 Plus I think. About to go on vacation and definitely don't want issues while I'm gone. 10.3.3 is just too smooth and optimized for me to switch to a beta rnAgreed.
