edit: doing a DFU restore now, its now the 4th time with ios11 I've done this, never happened with any of the previous iOS versions (pissed off)

You have a white screen with a black iPhone logo. Did you change your iPhone screen ?

terrible beta multitasking shutting apps is glitchy and overall slower animations that beta 4 can't belive this is near final after 5 betas this should be beta so buggy and slow closing apps has a delay

Double tap on lock screen opens “wallet” which should contain any and all passes you add to it. It will pull up a credit card first but you just swipe that down. These are screen shots of swiping down the card after using the wallet shortcut.

Double tap to open wallet does not work for me on iPhone 7.

Some queries:

1. Do I need to have future passes in it for it to open? I have some old passes inside at the moment.
2. Is there some setting somewhere to enable this tap to wallet feature?

I use Wallet in India only at airports and that frequency is going down, so i would generally just open the phone and the app and then show to the security personnel. This double tap feature would be immensely helpful and convenient.

IMO airplane mode is once again functioning as it should, because when you get on a plane there are periods they really don’t want any type of frequency interference. Keeping your Bluetooth connected defeats the whole purpose of an airplane mode.

I really do not know how many actually follow through. Each time I am on a plane, I see so many using their phones without Airplane mode activated. I don't know about other countries, but airlines in India surely need to just confiscate the devices before takeoff to ensure compliance. Man has always prided himself in flouting regulations.

Many planes now have WiFi, plus on most airlines you're allowed to use bluetooth headphones. So airplane mode is really only needed to kill the mobile/cellular radio, as that's the main one that pumps out lots of power trying to find a signal.

I lost like 8-9% battery tonight just for being idle in stand by for 6 hours.

And in the battery usage it says I used my phone 6 hours when in reality I just used it one hour when all apps are closed. Anyone else with a similar scenario?

Really curious as to why they removed iCloud Messages. I always said I wasn't going to even dare enabling it in beta lol.

Also, I wonder if they'll ever add iMessage/Messages to iCloud.com. I've often been at work unable to reach my phone wishing I could somehow iMessage someone.

Because it wasn't working properly and they probably can't get it working properly before September.

Well, I was hoping for a more generic non App related storage place.
A place where I save all kind of files, folder on my device and access it from any App.

That way it's just a different view/entry point to the same **** as before.

You'll be able to do that with an app - just have an app that you save everything to and then all your other apps can access it.

Aside from needing an app to do it - I don't see the benefit having a generic non app place would bring? It would work the same with just one less tap...

I'm on PB3/DP4 on my old 6+ and wifi won't stay connected. It won't show up in status bar, but it says it's still connected in settings. Internet isn't working when I try to go to any websites. I don't have a sim card installed, so wondering if that's the issue. Any others experience this issue before?

I read somewhere that it started showing up in Beta 4 for T-Mobile customers. It would definitely be nice to not have to reset the stats manually at the start of the billing cycle.

Does anyone know if the Weather widget bug from DB4/PB3 is fixed? My widget only updates when the GPS detects I'm in a new area or I restart the phone, forcing a refresh. Removing and readding the widget does not resolve it.

Both the actual App and the Watch complication update properly.

Been getting a lot more crashes in beta 5 on my ip7+ . Phone has been freezing and or the screen wont turn on. I have to hard reset it to get it up and running again. Has happened 4 times so far. Also having some data connection issues. So far feels less stable than Beta 4.

If it doesn’t give you the results you want, download the software update and install via iTunes. Do an update install. Or use Configurator and drag the file and click Revive.

Bluetooth is not forbidden on planes... Neither is Wi-Fi, indeed, they do let you use Wi-Fi on many planes now for you to watch movies (and save airliners costs on LCD screens for each person...). The only thing that should be blocked with Airplane Mode is Cellular connctivity.
