How is it working in the iPad 2017? Tried the PB3 but it had a lot of graphic glitches (icons in the Dock mostly) that forced me to reboot a couple of times per day.

This beta is pretty stable for me, almost GM worthy. Don't get me wrong, there's some bugs here and there, but it's mostly pretty stable, quick, and I'm not really having anything annoy me or negatively impact my experience.

Update: ok, battery life is really sucking on my 7. Thought it was just cuz I did an iCloud backup yesterday, but it's definitely draining faster than 10.3.3.

Battery life actually seems to be better than 10.3.3 on 6+, but maybe I'm wrong.

Even I am facing the same issue. I am unable to install the iOS 11 beta 5. Did it work for you.
Steps followed were as below:

Currently I have iOS 11 beta 4 installed on my iPad. As iOS 11 beta 5 released last night, I tried installing the iOS 11 beta 5 and the install does not work. Steps followed:

  1. Go to beta.apple.com
  2. Login with developer credentials
  3. Enroll Your Devices
  4. Click on iOS
  5. Download Profile
  6. Navigates to Settings.
  7. Click Install
  8. Enter passcode
  9. iPad Restarts to apply changes
  10. Once restarted the iPad shows already upto date. However, the build id is same as the of iOS 11 beta 4.
I tried deleting the beta profile and tried installing again.Same behaviour.

Thanks in advance!
I finally got it to work. It took multiple profile removals and restarts, but my 10.5” iPad Pro finally saw the update a day later. I have never experienced a problem like this before. I hope your iPad sees the update soon.

Well this beta seems to be worse for me! That lock screen glitch that people mentioned earlier happened to me, screen went dark. Once I got to my homepage, phone was dead, couldn’t scroll or open any apps, my power button didn’t work so I couldn’t lock my phone. It took me 5 minutes to realise that the new reboot system for the 7plus is holding the power and volume buttons together. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again. I honestly don’t understand how things can go worse from one Beta to another. Isn’t it suppose to become better with each beta?

I had this same thing happen to me and had to do the reset which I only found by pressing all buttons! seems to be working alright now.

Beta.apple.com is the public beta so of course you wouldn’t get it till the following day.

My original post clearly stated that I have a developer beta account.

You may do, but beta.apple.com is the public beta site, so if you downloaded a profile from there you got the public beta which is released at least a day after the developer beta.

I do have a developer beta account, and I downloaded my developer beta profile from the developer beta website. Like I said before, developer beta 5 is the only beta that I have had an issue with while having the developer beta profile on my iPad Pro.
Obviously Apple usually released the public beta a day or two after releasing the developer beta. I have never had a public beta account nor profile.

Ok the 3D touch multitasking removal is a damn crime... it was my favorite feature of 3D touch and they removed it for God knows why....

Could it be that it was really laggy (as I see most 3D touch uses are laggy atm)

Whatever the reason its unacceptable, as now i am force to push that damn button over and over again. Feels like i downgraded back to IOS9 on that regard...

I think we’re all bummed that it’s not coming back

Old post I know, but did you forget that iOS 10 had 8 betas? We might get the same amount for iOS 11.
Beta 4 -> 5 was only 8 days last year. It was 14 days this year. That alone removes a beta from the equation unless they start releasing them every 5-6 days starting now, which is highly unlikely.

I bet we see 2-3 more at the most.

I am seeing more random reboots in beta 5 than previously, and the app switcher is glitchy. 3D Touch is also buggy. The only thing significantly improved for me is battery life.

Same here. Problem also on the native mail app.
I hope you have logged on bug portal.
Interesting....badge did not go away in Gmail app; did go away when read from mail app. Tried to close Gmail and iPad froze. Hard restart and badge is gone.

This beta 5 is getting buggier by the day on my 7 Plus. I feel beta 4 was less buggy for me. Just weird screen issues all the time. Like rotation or freezes on App Store etc. It feels like a step back from beta 5. Can’t wait for beta 6.

Does anyone else have problems scrolling horizontally on the control center when in landscape on a plus model? This would only be noticeable if you have more than 5 added customizations.
