My voicemail on Verizon is not working. The app shows no messages but my box is full. Any ideas??

Performance is really inconsistent this beta, sometimes it works really fast and then gets sluggish out of nowhere, it’s also a lot less stable than the last beta. On the good side most major bugs (at least the ones I had) seem to be fixed. Also ram management is kinda bad.

Does anyone else have problems scrolling horizontally on the control center when in landscape on a plus model? This would only be noticeable if you have more than 5 added customizations.
Yes. 7 plus here having same issue. Beta 4 was scrollable. In addition, when in landscape mode, control center is difficult to bring up. You need to try few times. When you are in youtube, for example, control center is not able to bring up when in landscape mode. Also ocassionally, landscape mode suddenly don’t work on all app and have to restart phone.

I've noticed a change in the way the Photos app that fundamentally breaks a way I've been organizing things...

I keep a lot of artwork in my Photos library, but don't want it showing up in the regular timeline view. So I put the artwork into albums and hide the images.

But now hiding an image hides it in albums too! The only way to see hidden images is a new "hidden" album.

This is fundamentally broken; sometimes you want to put hidden images in certain albums to organize them.

Why oh why did Apple have to do this??

As I already stated above (post #427), does anyone else have this recurring problem with an absolutely unresponsive screen and power button?

It’s happened to me once so far, yesterday. My power button worked, but I wasn’t able to restart the phone. A hard reset fixed it.

I’ll report the bug now. For a moment I thought that I forgot to how to swipe across a screen

I tried a DFU restore to beta 4 and now icloud photo library is not working, it does not download my photos to my phone, anyone facing this problem? the photos app is empty but I can see my photos on icloud.com on computer.

Can anyone kindly confirm that if passcode is set to required passcode other than immediately, once the screen dim off, it will crashed and requires to key in password every times to enter screen again. Is this a bug and cannot be solve at this moment or a hard reset on phone will back to normal? 7 plus user here.

Same here.... you can’t modify the dates or remove them so they show up in moments - used to hide them too but that’s not possible anymore. Very dumb, at least there should be a Hide from timeline option or something like that.

Agreed somewhat I think he goes way overboard on this stuff though. The example I gave about the Health Icon is so stupid LOL. Also this icon got bolder, this 3D Touch platters corners are more rounded off than the previous betas. Like really?!
it's still interesting to see how apple's design team goes through that process. it may not make that much of a difference to the end user at all, but we're seeing first hand the little tiny minute changes that one of the best design companies in the world makes.

if you're a designer, engineer, business owner, artist, marketing, product designer, etc etc etc etc... it's super interesting.

I sent a bug report on this, but I actually think it’s intentional the more I think about it. It’s not really logical that pictures you hide are not hidden everywhere.

It has btw. been like this in all iOS 11 betas

Damn it, I also reported it as a bug, but now that I read your post, I agree with you : it seems to be intentional from Apple, that now hidden pictures are hidden « everywhere », except in the « hidden » album.

I’ve just tried to hide a new picture, and the prompted message is not the same... that’s bad for me as I have several hidden albums, that look empty now, though there is a number indicated on the icon. But when you open it, it shows « 0 photos ».

It’s not great for me that all hidden photos are mixed in a single album :(

The latest Beta fixed the battery problems I had with Apple Watch (1st generation), during the first betas it needed recharging up to twice a day, now it lasts a whole day again, also the music controls on the Watch work again. Almost thought it was the Watch that had the problem, but it was down to iOS 11.

Does anyone else find the delay when long pressing on a link (split view/slide over) too long?

I understand it is probably deliberate for drag and drop and I know you can press and then release but I still find it annoying. Note: It is only slower when in mobile UI.

Anyone else having an issue of messages (and WhatsApp messages) showing unread when you’ve read them? I can’t get rid of the badge telling me I’ve a new message when I don’t!

Yes me too. Restarting the phone fixed it for a while. Also seemed to help when I check the messages on a different device and then the number goes away on the device that it was stuck on.

After running the first dev beta on my 10.5 Pro and having a boot glitch resulting in an Apple dealer having to restore it while away, I’ve run the last couple of PBs and things have been working nicely. I’m starting to get some annoying disconnects with my Logitech slim pro keyboard. When it happens, the pencil also disconnects. Anyone else suffering this? A reboot normally fixes, but it’s starting to get annoying...

Ok the 3D touch multitasking removal is a damn crime... it was my favorite feature of 3D touch and they removed it for God knows why....

Could it be that it was really laggy (as I see most 3D touch uses are laggy atm)

Whatever the reason its unacceptable, as now i am force to push that damn button over and over again. Feels like i downgraded back to IOS9 on that regard...

By the sounds of it, it isn't coming back.

For Apple to remove a software feature suggests it probably was a problem with the new hardware design. I assume that because the next iPhone (whatever it is called) will have smaller bezels, they decided 3D touching the edge might be accidentally triggered more often (e.g. when holding the phone in your hand) and so removed it. Obviously, allowing 6S–7 uses to retain a feature the new superpriced iPhone won't have isn't kosher with marketing and so it has been removed for everyone.

On my air2 it’s working fairly well. I have some random freezes where the screen locks and won’t wake, and YouTube especially seems glitchy and slows randomly. I’m not sure about battery yet, today it dropped 8% with an hour of WiFi browsing which seems high.

Does anyone have experience in downgrading without a loss of data?

In former times (i.e. with iOS 10 beta) I downgraded by putting the iPhone in recovery-mode and installing the stable version as an "update" in iTunes. This worked quite well without loss of data or the need to recover any backup.

In beta 2 this didn't work, but I found a video on YouTube telling that exactly this should be possible now this way:
  1. Download 10.3.3 IPSW
  2. Turn off find my phone AND turn off passcode-protection and TouchID
  3. Put iPhone to recovery-mode (press vol- and power for > 10s)
  4. In iTunes option-click "update" and choose IPSW to update phone.
  5. Done.
Now, does this really work or will one be stuck in boot-loops? Anyone tested? If it works, I guess I might leave that beta behind me and roll back to 10.3.3. Though I got a 10.3.3 backup, that one is a few days old and will miss some data.

EDIT: This ist the video:

The only problem I'm having is battery drain. Everything else works great. I don't want to downgrade to 10.3.3 when everything is running so smoothly, but I also don't want to spend 2 more weeks with my battery life down the drain

Some messages in Messages appearing out of order after sending. They literally rearrange themselves into the wrong order occasionally.

thank god.

i don't want my nudes showing up anywhere but in hidden.

would be great if they put touch ID to access hidden as well.
