Has anyone else not been able to have Field Test Mode stay activated in the signal strength icon (rather than the bars) since iOS 11?

It's dead, Jim. Apple killed it.

Same thing is happening here, maybe it has changed to this. The weather is constantly using location when connected to Apple Watch. Ever since iOS 11 beta 1. Also Apple Watch faces. The open location arrow is always on when Apple Watch is connected. In iOS 10, this never showed. Are they ever gonna fix this? Does everyone else with the watch experience this?
Seems to be pretty good actually, surprisingly so. My biggest issue with the phone was actually swiping between pages of apps on the home screen. That was largely remedied with Beta 6 and Beta 7. Control center is smooth, notification center is smooth (although there are minor hiccups going from widgets to notifications, and vice versa, and things seem to function well. It operates a little bit slower than an iPhone 7, but that's to be expected. How is it B7 on 5S?

It’s also in the now playing view, scroll up a little, it’s where the repeat and shuffle button at in Apple Music:That was there before, seems a shame if they've removed the sleep timer, less messing about!
Just discovered this ! I suppose this is the machine learning behaviour sprinkled throughout the os... Though clicking it takes me directly to DHL tracking page for the docket number mentioned in the text..so kinda non useful...but nevertheless glad to see this!
Yes it will come OTA and you will have choice to use iTunes too if you wish. Typically the GM is a full install OTA too. That's sorta of a sign that release is imminent when we stop getting deltas and get the full installer.Hey guys when official version comes out will ota be fresh new install or do I have to install via itunes with ipsw file?
I don’t get it anymore, but then again I don’t mind it being absent either.Anybody else notice that the blue bar doesn’t show up anymore when Google Maps or another GPS app is running in the background? Not sure if it’s a bug but it’s pretty annoying that it’s not there anymore...

Now, the available storage in total that they quote you is the base storage for the phone. If you have 32GB, they will say there are 32GB available. However, this is not the case - since we know the system takes up memory. The storage that the system takes up is listed at the bottom of your storage page in settings, labeled "System."I know this is very old but I’ve been trying to search the forum but can’t find squat. In the general settings, with the capacity and storage, does the available storage including the memory used for iOS or does it not? Status Lite states 10.3 GB available but iOS settings states 13.18 GB. Both resources now state 32 GB total capacity. I’m sorry if this has been brought up many times but the search function in Tapatalk brings up nothing.

This has been criticized as misleading, as it could lead the user to think there are 32GB available altogether.
Well, the device will give its default capacity in full based on the amount of memory it has. Although your settings will display "32GB," the system takes up sayyy 6GB. In the past, you would be shown an available capacity of 26GB (which was accurate). Now, it falsely looks as if you get those 6GB back. Hope that makes sense!Gotcha, so whatever the iDevice states that’s available is accurate then? I prefer the old way because like you said, it seems to be a little misleading.
I got a little confused with your wording.Well, the device will give its default capacity in full based on the amount of memory it has. Right right, that’s the point I was trying to make. Convoluted as it wasI got a little confused with your wording.
Settings app will show what capacity is written on the iPhone box in iOS 11. If you bought a 256 GB iPhone, settings will say 256 GB in capacity. It won't show 'actual' capacity that takes into account the space that the iOS system takes up.
The difference in storage capacity is not just because of the OS taking the space, but because one measurement is made with a base 10 system (where 1GB=1000MB, manufacturers use this usually) and the other is made in a binary or base 2 system (1GB=1024MB). The math is not actually that correct because the measure is in bytes, but that’s the general idea.I got a little confused with your wording.

Battery has also been a surprise. Pretty solid in active usage, and standby battery is fantastic. I think this will be a solid overall release for the 5S, glad to see it still has some life in it. However, I cannot speak to Messages performance or deeper iCloud features, as it is just my testing device.
Heres my summary and opinion how b7 runs on my 5SHow is it B7 on 5S?
