It would be nice not to have to sign ou oft all your iMessage etc. devices first, when installing a fresh copy of OS X / MacOS. If not, you end up with duplicate devices listed on your iOS devices.
Android does that. Trusted geo-location and blue tooth. It's really handy.I'd like my iPhone change some settings depending where I am and which network I'm connected
Usually I got Siri disabled in lock screen so I need unlock to use Siri
- Smart phone should now that when I'm at home, in my car or in my work I would like disable some security restriction like that. At home and at work I am connected to a trust Wifi network and GPS do the rest. In the car I am moving fast and connect to a trusted handsfree
Bring back Forstall's skeuomorphic design. No like flat. Even Microsoft deemphasized Metro.
That will literally never happen. It was an awful design language and most likely will not be making a comeback. Especially not after 4 and a half years of having the iOS 7 and later design language.Bring back Forstall's skeuomorphic design. No like flat. Even Microsoft deemphasized Metro.

That's your opinion. My opinion and the opinion of many others here is that flat is fugly. Especially Jony's cartoonish childrens crayon box "flat." We want skeumorphism back. It's all much simpler than that--things were getting stale after some years and to appeal to more of the general consumer base some fresher and "cooler" looks were needed essentially. It's not about catering to some tiny subgroup no matter how much of a point they might have, it's about appealing more to the general consumers, which are different than various tiny subgroups. That's your opinion. Uh, no. You are straight up telling lies now. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have the fastest processor ever created for an iOS device and the highest amount of RAM (in the iPhone 7 Plus anyways, at 3GB). And are you seriously saying that after 4.5 years of the current design language being around? Fam, please. Also, who's "we"? You're literally the only one (and maybe one other person) I've seen so far who wants skeuomorphism back. Anyways it's not coming back no matter how much "you" want it.That's your opinion. There are numerous threads here about how ugly iOS is, so he's definitely not alone.Uh, no. You are straight up telling lies now. Allow developers to update their icons on the springboard!

You aren't the only one of course given dozens upon dozens of long threads hashing and rehashing things related to the design change that have been around in these forums (and other places) since the iOS 7 days, in particular during the early iOS 7 days. That said, most have essentially moved on years later at this point.I don't disagree that things were getting stale. You are very much correct in that regard. I just don't think that unleashing Jony Ive's box of crayons and obsession with "flatness" was the right approach. And based on some of the other comments on this thread and at large, I'm not alone in that sentiment.
Moved on? Or given up? I suspect some combination of the two. But I've never been much of a giving up sort of person! You aren't the only one of course given dozens upon dozens of long threads hashing and rehashing things related to the design change that have been around in these forums (and other places) since the iOS 7 days, in particular during the early iOS 7 days. Probably one or the other given that it's years later already basically. It ultimately didn't really do much to really argue about it back when the change was made, aside from essentially just people mostly (and understandably) venting, and certainly years down the line it barely even does that much, even from just the venting perspective.Moved on?
