There’s no excuse for the serious UI issues. The App Store updates have major issues with icons all over text. Then, when you go to upload a file (as I just did to attach the two images right here), there is no option to cancel. Mind-boggling.

Seems to work fine here.

I downloaded ios 11 on my iPhone 6s, and its such a piece of garbage.
It crashes, lags, animations are noticeably slower (apple slowing down older phones),
when i force touch on icons, sometimes it vibrates, sometimes its not (giving it that very good feel).
Scrolling in apps is slower, laggy, apps open noticeably slower.
Also, why is there another bar in messages app when i open a message.
There is already the app store button next to the camera one, i dont need al that S**t down there

I've had a perfect, fast phone that never crashed, never lagged, now i got a slow phone that sometimes crashes when i open a simple app. (Safari for example).

What the hell apple.

Also, i hate the contrast changing thing when the screen comes on. Srsly, whats the point? It looks ugly.

Never ever ever ever ever ever update to a new iOS of your phone is over 2 years old.

Is that legit website? Usually don't like to download from unfamilar websites.
It may not be a completely foolproof way of assessing safety, but if you want to check the security of a website use Norton's Safe Web site. You can enter in a URL and it'll scan for viruses, malware, etc. and compile a simple report. Overall, it'll give a rating of "Safe" or "Not Safe."

Oh don’t worry, I wouldn’t post unsafe links. It’s safe. Been recommended for years at this point. The downloads of the firmwares are off of Apples own servers.

Nice! Still. I'm just being precautious.

For the most part iOS 11 is working fine for me. There seems to be the occasional glitch here and there that hasn’t been fixed at all. But overall it’s ok I guess.

Anyone having dramas with the time it takes for a song to play when you press the play button?
Has always been instant, however since I jumped onto iOS 11, seems to be about a 5-10sec lag for the song to actually start playing. iPhone 7+

My main complaints have to do with widgets not updating promptly, or at all. Especially the weather widget. Other than that, I’ve been loving iOS 11.

If the ipsw were somehow modified, even just one byte changed, your device would refuse to install it because Apple wouldn't sign it. While it's best to be cautious, in this case it doesn't matter. :)
Good tip!

My 6s has been running well on iOS 11 throughout the beta period. The 6s was released just under two years ago, BTW: September 25, 2015.
Hope the experience is good for you.

Whiners do this every year every time, op just joined today too.. excellent.
At one time you were new here as well. Just because someone joins on a day ending in Y, that doesn't necessarily mean that they are here to troll and cause trouble.

Works great on my iPhone 7+ with the exception of the large fonts in mail and messages. On my iPad Pro it's not great, every time I switch apps or start and app I see the previous screen briefly blow up larger during the animation switch - clunky as all heck.

Overall it feels a step backwards for Apple. Even the new dock feels clumsy on my iPad Pro.

Completely agree, it’s a mess. Things like the personal hotspot in the control center. You can turn it in from there but you can’t turn it off! You must go into settings to turn it off. Also in the google app I can’t swipe away stories without first swiping left then right then left again. It’s quite gittery too. Not good

I've been using iPhones since 2009, never touched any other phone since then, always updated to the new os first day, never had any complaints.
